PayPal provides no security or fraud protection.
Four “automatic payments” were put on my PayPal account simultaneously, for an original order of one item, which was duplicated, another item added, and that duplicated too. The order was cancelled within around 15 minutes, but the Company, (Commerce core) responded to the cancellation, saying the items have already been despatched and cannot be stopped. I was referred to the returns policy, which is expensive, laborious and splits the one transaction into four which all have to be handled separately.
I filed four disputes with PayPal, which were all contemptuously rejected, despite the fact that PayPal knew at the time of my transaction that their security had been compromised and Commerce core was placing multiple “automatic payments” on client accounts without authorisation.
