Misinformation on the public website
Bought a TV online and made a mistake, I hadn’t realised that TVs are measured diagonally so the new TV is the same size as the old one we were replacing. Tried to call and didn’t get through in over 20 mins, so as per their website went in store to return and buy a bigger TV. Was told in store because the box had been opened we would have to use the online returns process and have DPD collect. (The wording on the website says the fastest way to return is in store, on multiple pages, even if the box is opened) on the phone now to try and speak to the team and again over 20mins in with no answer. The team in store said they’ve reported this misinformation back about the website multiple times and nothing changes. What poor customer service. I wanted to pay more for a bigger TV, might well buy one elsewhere after this faff.
