Scamming

I can’t stress enough how bad my experience with Codeyoung has been. Not only is their service subpar, but their business practices are downright shady. What’s worse is how they pressure customers, particularly kids, into leaving 5-star reviews for them.
It became clear to me that Codeyoung doesn’t actually care about genuine feedback. Instead, they’re manipulating their clients into writing positive reviews by directly pressuring them. I was forced by an instructor to leave a 5-star review, and the teacher watched me write it, making sure I gave them a perfect rating.
On top of that, their customer service is a joke. They advertise a “satisfaction guaranteed” policy with a refund, but when I requested one, they suddenly claimed I was outside the refund window and only offered class credits instead. This is a blatant attempt to cheat customers out of their rights. It’s misleading, dishonest, and completely unacceptable.
The instructors themselves are not qualified. When I presented a simple piece of code, the teacher couldn't explain it. They were rude, dismissive, and had poor communication skills. I had to repeat myself multiple times because they couldn’t even hear me properly.
Their aggressive sales tactics don’t stop there. They’ve bombarded me with daily phone calls despite me repeatedly telling them I am not interested in enrolling in any more classes. This constant harassment is unprofessional, and frankly, it feels like a scam.
Codeyoung is more focused on collecting fake 5-star reviews and pressuring their customers than actually providing value. They’re scamming people and taking advantage of customers who trust them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. I will not be recommending them to anyone.

Harassment of phone calls, scammers

I strongly advise others to stay away from Codeyoung. They advertise a “satisfaction guaranteed” policy with a refund, but once you ask for one, they change their stance and claim you’re outside the refund period—offering only class credits instead. This is misleading and unacceptable.

The instructors are not qualified to teach. I presented a simple piece of code, and the instructor was unable to explain it. Not only was the teaching ineffective, but the instructor was also rude and dismissive. Communication was extremely poor; I had to repeat myself multiple times because they couldn't hear me properly.

Customer service is just as disappointing. They promise quick responses but fail to reply to emails for months. There’s no sense of urgency or accountability.

To Codeyoung: STOP HARASSING ME WITH DAILY PHONE CALLS. I have told you repeatedly—I am not interested in enrolling in any more classes. Calling me multiple times a day is not only unprofessional, it's harassment.

This company is deceptive in its practices, offers poor service, and then follows up with aggressive sales tactics. Shame on you for taking advantage of customers. I will not be recommending Codeyoung to anyone.

Scammers

Very very horrible. This is a company that wants to take peoples money but the service is horrible. Today i went into sage dental for a regular cleanup. It's been a year since my last visit and they had to do the check up again. I was well aware i had crowding and that i would need a orthodontist. This all happened during my first visit but today when i went in it wasn't that long of a wait but i went in and sat. They did all the x rays and everything and they told me i would need to pay out of pocket for the checkup, regular cleaning. I told them my insurance covers them all and i won't pay a single penny. They said your insurance is a discount insurance and said they will check with the office staff. After 20 mins of waiting they come back saying yes it covers and told me to sign. They did the x rays and went somewhere. Then my regular dentist who does my cleaning didn't come at this point. Some random dude whose a hygienist checked my teeth and apparently said i need to do ginger vitasus cleanup. He explained me all those stuff and went. The nurse said we need to wait for another doctor to come and do the cleanup. So i said okay and waited there 15 mins for another person to come and check my teeth and went. I still didn't understand what was going on. They said i have crowding and i will need to be recommended to a orthodontist. I told them i was aware of this during my first visit. They gave me the referral and tried charging me $475.99 for the ginger vitasus cleaning. I told them i don't want to do that but do the regular cleaning. Another dude told me they can do that without the ginger viatus but the nurse i was assigned told me they cannot do that without doing the ginger vitasus. The interesting part is when my regular cleaning doctor came and told me they will remove some pricing but it came out the door to $200 something. I told them i don't want to do the ginger vitasus. They were trying to force me to do something that won't have an effect for a long time. I told them i was uncomfortable with the pricing and told them i will walk out. They didn't do my regular cleaning. Tried charging me for office fee, checkup fee. Why are we adding more fees to some treatment you guys didn't offer but gave me a piece of paper that explains the pricing?? They didn't do my cleanup and i walked out. I requested the office staff to email my x-rays and they said they will do it tomorrow because they are busy?? They weren't busy except on their phones and talking about the lawn mowers. This is very unacceptable and i won't be returning back to your Wesley chapel location. I won't be a returning sage dental customer and will look elsewhere for my future dental visits. I sat there 2 hours without a cleanup but a run around. This company is running a scam business and charging for something they didn't do.
