Oh been here 24 hours so far!

On arrival there was no welcome pack so don’t expect one. Not even a bottle of water, but never mind the water, not even hand soap, washing up liquid, a sponge to wash up. I’m pretty amazed there was toilet roll as that was the only thing (bar from furniture, white goods and utensils) that were provided.
Master bedroom: tiny safe accessed via the key, shower leaked all over the floor, toilet had difficulty flushing and water continued to run after flushing, towel rail broken and fell off on putting the towel on.
Kitchen - coffee machine did not work. After 20 mins I managed to get half a cup of coffee.
Garden has a wasp nest in the wall.
All of this was in less than 24 hours of arriving. On contacting to highlight issues we were informed, by a disinterested Irish woman, they would notify the owners. We were advised it is the time of year for wasps - highlighted again that there is a wasp nest! And on providing feedback on the lack of anything found in the property she said it was self catering so to be expected. I’ve been on cheap holidays with the lasses to 2 star hotels self catering, even hostels, and still got hand soap and wishing up liquid! It’s self catering - surely that’s food not soap?? When advised this was the first and likely last time we would book with Villa Plus she really wasn’t bothered.
Staff did come the day we raised issues and tried to resolve the issues. Even when they came to fix things, leaving the door open 5 wasps got into the villa 🙈 I managed to kill 4 with a tea towel and flip flop. 1 is yet to be located but is in there somewhere. We now have a new coffee machine, hoping the shower is fixed, towel rail has been stuck back on the wall, need to flush the loo 3 times when using it and they should be out tonight for the wasp nest.
Here’s hoping all is resolved and the holiday gets better.

We’re pleased to note that the owner arrived within 20 minutes, and a replacement coffee machine was delivered within the hour.

As a professionally managed accommodation provider with nearly 1600 villas on our programme, we differ from individual hosts who may leave personal items such as (condiments, kitchen cleaning supplies). Instead, we focus on consistency, safety, and quality across all our programme. A starter pack can be purchased during the booking process or added after your booking is made we are sorry if this was missed.

As you are still enjoying your stay, please be assured that our resort team is actively working to resolve any outstanding matters and will remain available to assist you throughout your time with us.

This site offers customer service like never before! Not only are the products great but the support it is there to achieve your goals and maintain them. I feel I’m in safe hands and have the support I need.
This is no fake sales crap - when they promise results and great prices they deliver!

Good product but you need to rethink your standard customer service response

I have made a few orders via TruTan and could not fault, hence the returned custom. My recent order had not arrived and I waited over 7 working days before contacting. My friend who also uses TruTan reassured me they have great customer service. I was provided with a prompt response, but a passive aggressive response that advised me my payment hadn’t gone through. Not what I had expected at all. Thank you for the apology Paddy, and I can’t reply to it but can edit my review, but of course I hadn’t realised the money had not left my bank account or I would not have made contact with the company to chase my order. You may need to review the standard response for future customers.

Can not fault the customer service

Can not fault the customer service. You’re not just getting a good product with quick delivery at good prices but you get a community to support you too. Def found the right product for me - thanks Ray!

This place is great

This place is great. I first came years ago when I lived in Chester-le-street. I’ve move around but now I live half an hour away and it’s def worth the travel. They sell great quality tyres, good prices but the customer service is exceptional. I take my little boy, and I know this place isn’t a play area, but he loves it and the staff are great with him. He can’t wait to work there when he is 16! 🤣 can’t thank the staff enough for their customer care!
