Great greeting, shown to table. Waiting staff introduced himself then took an age to return, It was our 30th Wedding anniversary and booked as a special treat. Ordered food and drinks, to be told no steak and chips- can you believe that in a supposedly high end restaurant. Drinks didnt come and saw other waiting staff serve drinks to their allocated tables for people that arrived after us. Food came before the drinks, how can this even be allowed in a restaurant. Didnt want to make a scene but after about 15 mins went to waiter. Drinks came bottle or 330ml lager (£7!!!!) and wine were warm. Eat food, wifes chicken was so dry and it must of been waiting a while for collection, my fishcake ok, Decided against ordering deserts and coffe and just wanted to leave. Didnt even argue about the mandatory service charge. Will never go back. Subsquently went on Trustpilot and disinterested staff and wait times a common problem and a score of 2.7 over all of their estate. Wish I read Trustpilot before. Surely managemnet are inept as not acting and correcting previous comments. Avoid, it ruined a lovely day

One recipe card missing

One recipe card missing. Called to get recipe card . Cancelled subscription also. Told can only place ex-gratia credit to closed Hello Fresh account and not into billing bank card. Surely ex-gratia payment should be refunded to billing account. Please change policy to pay into billing account

Ordered plant 21st May 2025 said dispatched in 24 hours. Still NOT RECEIVED

Ordered two sets of plants on 21st May 2025. Said the Mandevilla would be dispatched in 24 hours and Geraniums in 7 days. Called after one week as neither arrived. Told both delayed by Bank holiday as Suttons didnt want them sitting in courier warehouse over long weekend which I understood. But Geraniums still took another week to arrive.

Had not received Mandvilla yet so called on 9th June. They said Its was picked on previous Friday and was delayed as now Suttons busy season. Website at time of order said dispatched in 24 hours!!! Now 11th June and still have not received plant. Summer will be over by time it arrives and potential plant will only flower for short period. Appalling Customer Service. Sutton Seeds has been established for over 100 years so experienced over 100 summers, surely they know about seasonal high demands and act accordingly or maybe they are 100 years behind the times. Wont use them again

Wonderful Customer Service

Completed a review last week as two books ordered were not as new as described. Someone from WoB emailed me and asked for more information. Has now sent new books to me as good as described. Excellent service as they reached out to me offering a wonderful experience for getting good quality book. Wonderful Customer Service

Books arrived on date expected but would class them as 'used' or 'well used' instead of 'very good' condition
