Like: I have the Altucher True Alpha and Network subscriptiions starting in March of 2024. Most of the recomendations are winners. I paid for my subscriptions in the first year with a slight bump in my portfolio.
Don't like: Way too many high cost marketing events for investment tips. They oversell and are wrong on a few very important catalysts for some investments. You have to be very careful on the amount you invest because they are wrong sometimes and that one bet you believe will get the catalyst and it doesn't, can wipe out all your profits from their alerts.. Happened to me so today, I only bet conservatively with their alerts.
I bought lifetime membership. I haven't made much success yet with their Scalping methods after a few months. Still trying.
Like: Training is good, Radar Alerts are useful it seems. Not positive that I have the expertise to get the most out of it...yet.
Dislike: In order to get the most out of the system, I need to get more monitors and a system where I can look at all the Alerts and devote more time. This is an all day thing which is probably not going to work in the long run. I am retired and prefer just a couple hours in the morning for trading.
3 Star Rating: I have subscribed to other services that has allowed significant trading profit without having to sit in front of my computer all day. So for me SMB is actually a 1 Star. However, being fair to their advertising, I give them a 3-Star.
2 Star because it seems to work for some as it shows in the reviews and on some online meetings I attended. After 2 months I did not profit much at all and at that rate it would take quite some time to recover the $14k+ spent on fees for all the services including the Minotaur Fee.
Liked: 1. The personnel are nice people and have some probable success is seems. 2. Support was good on office hours and the $30 support individual "Concierge Calls."
Did Not Like: 1. The general auto BOT did not perform. So I tried their Minotaur Trading Systems Trade Desk.
2. Trade Desk has great people operating this service; however, I am not suited for this service. I am not understanding how to operate the BOTS...they do not have a real course on it which is my preferred way to learn. My first BOT was in position and never performed positively. I lost confidence in this service so I discontinued. I am not disparaging Minotaur, I am just not suited for this as an operator, the Auto-BOT did not perform, and I did not gain belief in the system.
3. Support response is slow; however, once you get someone on office hours or by appointment they are quite good.
4. They do not have a very good learning system; especially with the Trading Desk. No formal course and poorly put together videos that are of low visual quality. This is my opinion having been a course creator and in comparison to other services at especially this high cost.
In summary, some people on the support calls confirmed that the system works. Not sure how well. For me, I don't like my experience especially in comparison to my Forex BOT. My return with them under the same time period was as advertised. The FOREX service support is quicker and they have a great reporting system vs not much with Minotaur. This is how I decided that Minotaur Trading Systems is for those that have a great capacity as an operator of the BOTS than I, believe in Crypto Currencies and have high risk tolerance.
Really can't give a recommendation. Quite a loss for me.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience — I appreciate the honesty and detail. I did want to point out a couple of important clarifications, since I think there may be some misunderstanding around how the system is designed to work.
You mentioned that the bot was “bleeding” and so you stopped it. In reality, our bots don’t bleed value in the way a directional position would. They use systematic layering into positions, which will always show some level of unrealized drawdown until the take profit closes. That’s actually the core strength of the strategy: it turns volatility and temporary drawdown into opportunity, provided the system is allowed to complete its cycle. Turning the bot off mid-cycle prevents it from doing its job.
Also, you mentioned that the system underperformed but at the same time felt “too high risk.” There’s a bit of a contradiction there. For example, Forex bots typically run on much higher leverage — so if they’re giving faster short-term results, that by definition implies more risk than our approach, which is designed to prioritize survivability and controlled risk in Bitcoin markets.
That said, I do understand your point about learning style. We’re a fit for people who are comfortable trusting the automation, have conviction in Bitcoin long-term, and don’t want or need to micromanage their positions. If you prefer a course-based, hands-on learning path and a more leveraged style, then it’s fair to say this just might not be the best fit for you.
Either way, I wish you the best of luck with your trading journey, and thank you again for trying our system.
