Can’t quite believe what happened here
Can’t quite believe what happened here. I bought a Valentino cardigan, knowing it was probably going to be too small for me, but due to the decent price I got it anyway. I took it out of the box, held it up, knew I had made a mistake and there was no way it would fit, put it IMMEDIATELY back, without trying on, into the box and made arrangements for it to be sent back.
15 days later, after multiple chasing of the non existent customer service team, I got an email saying that because I had worn the item and removed the tag, they were sending it back to me and I could not be refunded.
I have been shopping online for years, and would never waste my time sending back an item I have worn and taken tags off, as no company is going to fall for that! I simply DID NOT do this, the item arrived with no tags in the first place, and in my rush and certainty it it wasn’t going to fit, I didn’t notice.
I replied to them and explained all of this, but they just stopped responding from that moment, and the cardigan arrived back a few days later. Clearly, their quality control team are as poor as their customer service team are. How could I ever trust to buy again knowing that if they send the item without the tags, I’m stuck with it through no fault of my own.
