Staff recognition

We undertook a sale and purchase through Talbots and found the whole experience made that little bit smoother when going through a stressful time.

In particular I had some real challenges with my buyers legal team and Isabella from the Birmingham branch was absolutely fantastic. She really is a credit to Talbots Law. She went above and beyond in assisting me and no doubt easing my concerns.

Poor products-poor service

Unfortunately it seems that after a song and dance about how purchasing from this business “helps support local” doesn’t mean anything other than an excuse for
Poor service.


When I originally purchased an iPhone 16pro max case and screen protector around 6 months ago I wasn’t informed the case wasn’t in stock. Therefore recieved my order days apart, quite frustrating when you’re trying to protect your new phone.

Anyway, 6 months on and the case itself has completely detached on the one side from the rear. Substandard.

I did reach out to case monkey a few days ago but they haven’t graced me with a response therefore I feel it necessary to leave this review.

Support local they say.. this is why the large companies with next day delivery continue to thrive. Shame

Edit: In response to the businesses reply. I’ve not requested a replacement product nor made any reference or comment in relation to an expectation of free product replacement. Ironically an email response which contained my original order number was finally given after I had taken to Trustpilot to share my experience.

In my initial email that wasn’t replied to, I simply shared my experience as feedback. I standby the comments and would have expected the product to have at least lasted 12 months as many of my other cases have.

We’re also clear and fair with our warranty terms, and a case showing wear after 6 months of regular use is outside what most would consider reasonable grounds for replacement.
