I do not recommend this site. I only encountered laziness and close-mindedness on the part of the person I spoke to. The person I spoke to did not even bother trying to contact dealers who would be interested in buying my car. I was selling my 2010 Mercedes C Class Estate with only 97.000 km., regularly serviced at Mercedes service centres, with a full service history. My car was purchased in the Netherlands but had to be transferred from tax-free plates to regular Dutch plates to be sold on the regular Dutch market. I explained I wanted to try to sell my car through the site to get a higher price than that offered by dealers for trade-in, which was only around EUR 6,000. I had done my research and had found similar cars, but often older or with significantly more mileage, being sold on Markplaats and gaspedaal.nl for around EUR 13.000.

The person I spoke to told me to just accept the trade-in offer and that I would not get a better deal.

I ended up selling my car to a dealer on wijkopenautos.nl for EUR 9.500, and the dealer sold the car for EUR 12.950. What a missed opportunity for ikwilmijnautoaf.nl due to the laziness and arrogance of its agent.
