I purchased barcodes from this service only to find out they are completely useless on Amazon. As soon as I tried to list my products, I received the infamous error 8572 – which means you're using EAN/UPC/JAN/ISBN or ASIN codes that do not match the product you’re trying to list.

I attempted to contact their customer support, but got no response at all. Not surprising, perhaps, given what’s stated in their Terms and Conditions: they explicitly mention that no refunds are given if Amazon rejects the codes. That clause alone should raise a red flag — clearly this happens often enough that they felt the need to legally protect themselves against it.

In my opinion, if your business is solely selling barcodes, then you should ensure they actually work on major platforms like Amazon. Otherwise, customers are just paying for something that gets thrown in the trash the moment it’s used. At the very least, they should refund rejected codes.

Extremely disappointing experience. I do not recommend this service.

Appsumo appears to be a large platform for startups seeking funding from users. However, once purchased, many of these startups fail within a short time, leaving the buyer without money or a product. Customer support leaves much to be desired. Reviews are structured in a way that always highlights those praising the product while neglecting more critical ones. Even the prices displayed are misleading. For example, Appsumo might show that a company offers a product for €1 instead of €1,000. However, if you visit the company’s website directly, the prices are often much lower. Appsumo is only worthwhile if you’re lucky enough to find the right startup. In all other cases, it’s essentially useless.

This program is useless. After purchasing it from AppSumo with a lifetime license, the program stopped working. Customer service started lying, claiming the issues would be resolved. I followed up with them, and they responded that the resolution was delayed because the person handling the matter had just been diagnosed with ALS. After a few months, with everything still at a standstill, I decided to request a refund, which they had clearly stated was lifetime. However, they made up an excuse, saying AppSumo users had misunderstood. In the end, the program doesn't work, I didn't get a refund, and during the short period it worked, it was completely useless.
