IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SIGN NOT TO BUY FROM CURRYS, THIS IS IT.
I don't know where to start with this absolute circus of a company.
Took my money. Delivered a faulty item. Currys arranged for DPD to collect the faulty item...then told me they wouldn't send a replacement, they'd send the faulty one back to me, maybe, in 14 days. So...if they weren't going to replace a faulty item, why arrange to collect it in the first place? If they were only going to post it back to me?
We may never know the "logic" behind this decision, as they then decided they'd not send even the faulty item back to me. Then they refunded me 10% (???) despite me asking them not to and to send me a replacement. Then they offered to send the faulty item back to me again (my blood pressure spiked). Then they offered a full refund.
I am *still waiting* for that full refund. I have no item and am hundreds of pounds out of pocket in the meantime. Worse, this was meant to be a Christmas present. So there's no chance I'll get the refund back in time to replace that gift for Christmas now.
All this took TEN contact attempts with TEN agents on my behalf. Zero communication from Currys, despite many promises that they'd email me, no confirmation emails, nothing. Eight agents all lied one after the other, saying they'd "raise" the replacement request with "the team", only for the next agent to tell me no such thing had happened, but they'd do it. And then they didn't.
Do not buy from this company. For your own sanity and wallet. I now become violently ill when I see shades of purple. An absolute circus from start to...well, it hasn't bloody finished, I'm still waiting for my refund. Or even a confirmation email that I'm *getting* a refund.
