I entered into a subscription looking…

I entered into a subscription looking for one, a house keeper and, two, a pet sitter.

Lets start with the pet sitters. Not sure how it works, but they'll find ONE match. If I don't like that match, they'll send me ONE other. On and on. I cannot request an interview of several sitters at once. Tedious, inconvenient and a waste of time. We're due at our oldest granddaughters wedding in 2 weeks! Been searching for a month!

There was one girl we wanted to hire, but 30 minutes after the interview she said she wanted to whole payment up front! I'd have laughed had I the time!

Let's talk house keepers! Interviewed one whose ad said "Starting at $25/per hour." As do most. She arrived with her son as an an interpreter since English was a distant 2nd language, No go!

Not only would I be unable to tell her HOW I want something done, she wanted $60.00/hour! $180/week!

I was surprised and asked for proof that she was licensed, bonded and insured and paying taxes.

She told ME to F-bomb off! Her English got great, didn't it? Ah, but the saga continues.

I did a review of her, saying exactly, and only, the a fore mentioned.

I was kicked off of care.com.

At 81 years old and a fixed income I can't afford to get hammered.

At 81 years old, I'm no longer the sharpest knife in the drawer, and found their site difficult to navigate. Not knowing exactly WHAT an anti-snoring mouthpiece is, and afraid of the future, I purchased 3. Or so I thought.

My face mask on my CPAP machine was whistling. I bought one on Amazon, and was told it would not be here for 4 days.

Since one can die from Sleep Apnea, I sought temporary alternatives and came across this site. They claimed "fast" shipping for which I paid an extra $12.00.

I figured I'd need only one to help me live for a day or two, but looked into the future and decided to grab 3, lest something else goes wrong.

Somehow, while attempting to navigate their site, I wound up buying 7 items with the same name, but per the invoice mailed to me, were different part numbers.

Then, during checkout I saw the shipping time would be up to 14 days! I cancelled IMMEDIATELY!

It's not that their customer service is bad. It's no existent! There are no employees dedicated to helping you. No one to measure your feet even!

If there were signs telling anyone WHERE men's shoes are, I didn't see them!

I walked around a huge store until my antique hip began to hurt, walked out, went home to write this review.

Review of Mobile Unlocked

On their page they claim to unlock the phone in 3 easy steps!

1. Provide your device details. e.g. IMEI number...etc.
2. pay us and we process your unlock. Usually 1 to 15 minutes.
3. Phone it ready! Legally and permanently.

From the home page:

"
How much does it cost to unlock my phone?

The price of an unlock code differs based on the make and model of your phone, the network carrier it’s tied to and your country of residence. You are provided with an exact price for unlocking your phone by entering your IMEI number."

Today I got an email saying I have to pay an additional $25.00 to get an unlock code.

Y'all are going to need to give me a refund.

Review of MiniTool Software Ltd.

The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. "he is known to be a man of integrity"

I'm getting on in years, Alzheimer's and all that fun stuff....

Apparently, a year ago I bought an annual subscription for their Shadow Maker backup app. Don't recall it all. Got a notification last week saying they want money again. I went to their site, and I "thought" I canceled, but I was charged. Emailed them asking for a refund, and the said sure. However, if you'd like we'd be happy to make that a perpetual license at no cost.

Evaluating it now:) That, my young friends, is the definition of integrity.

Review of Easeus Data Recovery

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Regarding EaseUS

Regarding EaseUS, a provider of data recovery solutions.

I do not recommend them.

I am an old man, in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s, so I tend to be a bit forgetful. I admit I am at least partially responsible, however:

33 days ago, I purchased Todo backup and restore from this company. 2 weeks later, there was an update, that I of course installed. Their app uninstalled the old version before installing the new one.

When I loaded the app again, I was told to activate it. I attempted to do so using the registration key I had purchased only a 33 days prior, and was told it had already been used, and to purchase the app again.

I was able to get a new key via chat, but then, 2 weeks later, Yesterday, 09-23-2024, there was another update.

During the a fore mentioned chat with support I WAS also given instructions on how to reset my key(s).

Again, I was unable to use the key I had already purchased and was told to pay for it again. I went back to chat with support asking for a refund, because I don’t find the cost of the app to be worth going through such a major inconvenience every other week.

I was given an email address for their customer service department, I contacted them explaining my position, again asking for a refund, only to be told it was three days past their refund policy. They sent a link to their refund policy, telling me they strongly suggest I read it.

My choices are to either go through this major hassle to get a new license every other week, or to skip UPDATES. Updates are bug fixes and patches. I find this app to be of no value to me.

From their website: On the following dates, I made these purchases:

EaseUS Todo PCTrans Professiol,

Lifetime Upgrades Subscription 3FTNF-WFZHK-1SK3Z-56KIG-JKHSZ 2023-09-20 $79.95

Why would they not tell me I already own their products?

I did get these refunds:

239388494 -39.98 2024-08-06 05:16:27 REFUND
234668240 -59.95 2024-06-06 09:05:20 REFUND
230683760 -59.95 2024-06-06 09:05:05 REFUND
234668240 56.65 2024-05-19 02:39:48 Refunded

Their support team is great, but I believe, when customer service pulled up my account, they should have noticed how many times I purchased their products.
