SCAM!!!!!
SCAM!!!!!! BEWARE!!! Please
I've had an awful time with "epicenclave" since December 2024. I originally "won" a competition which required a small payment of £1.25 towards P&P to receive my prize. Itt was very convincing and I was stupid enough (wish I could claim I was naive!) to enter my details and make the payment. Since, they have tried billing me frequently and consistently, up to 5 times a day! Each time, the total they attempted to withdraw ranged from £59.99 to £4.99. I contacted my bank in January 2025 but still they persisted to take payment. So much so, I transferred any monies into another account to avoid losing it. I have since researched "epicenclave" but to no avail, UNTIL they tried taking payment today and the notification from my bank provided a link. I clicked on this link which sent me to a site for a mobile gaming subscription service named "Flickstar Ltd". Online info on this site and epicenclave have provided a few different details . It seems the company trying to bille is owned and managed by one man only, named Antony David Roy JACKMAN. His Facebook profile claims he works for Marlborough Highways. Nothing more. And has done since 2021. He began epicenclave as a Sic Code 82990 company, giving him no reason to declare his true business intentions, as far as I can find. There is no mention of his LTD company (which he started in October 2023)) whatsoever on his Facebook profile. On the Gov site, he seems to work alone. I cannot find any legit information to reassure me or anyone else that his company is the real McCoy, tbh. I'm stressed and tired of the insistent ply to rob me of my money for services unclear to me, of which I most definitely did not sign up for. I recommend all to avoid like the plague anything in regards to either epicenclave or Flickstar. OBVIOUS SCAM
EDITED:
I ought to have also mentioned the fact that epicenclave seems to be displayed often as a US site/service. In my experience (and after my endless online researches), I have conflicting information that it is a UK ltd company, depending on which search is investigated! And is based in STOWMARKET @ what seems to be a private address. It also seems to have changed the way it spells "Flickstar" by readjusting letters to ""Flixster", although I am confused if this is a separate company altogether. It may be a tactic to hide, I surmise. Most contact links I found are false in trying to get in touch to resolve issues aswel. The main point is that I paid for something which turns out to be totally different than what I thought. It worries AND scares me to contemplate just how many have fallen victim to this (OBVIOUS TO ME) scam. And how many others have spent MONTHS trying to get a resolve for their relentless attempts to withdraw different amounts of money. They're determined to catch me out, so I am sure they do the same to others. OFTEN attempting to take whatever they deem possible to scam out of, by chance. Seemingly in hope that they will succeed one day. I do hope not but how long must I dodge their attempts and fear using my bank account safely and as is ment to be used? A safe place to store my funds and make legit payments, honestly due?! I probably have made myself clear that this so called company has really riled me and I intend to take it further in fighting them from now on. Ashamed I haven't done more before. But then, every way I have attempted to fight them, I've got a brick wall or found myself on a merry-go-round of horrors which I cannot stop to get off. PLEASE DONT ALLOW YOURSELF TO GET ON THE SAME HELLISH RIDE AS I!
