I've started with the free sessions…

I've started with the free sessions because I didn't have too many clients. I've signed up for the service and I've noticed recently that it doesn't always accurately record the sessions. It reads my voice as client and doesn't record the client's voice accurately. It's not always but from time to time I've noticed this. I am not able to record a telephone session via the app from my iPhone. My iPhone will not allow me to record a phone call. I've had to improvise in dictating the session note. All in all, it has been a useful tool. I have been able to devote time to the session and not note writing during the session. My clients appreciate that.

Hi Mary,
thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate your feedback! We’re glad you’re finding Upheal helpful, and we’re sorry that it hasn’t always been ideal.

I understand how our iPhone app would seem like it should capture phone calls directly, but it’s intended for recording in-person sessions and can’t record calls being made on the same phone that the app is running on. We don’t have a tool for directly capturing phone calls, but we can offer a workaround.

As for voice recognition, it’s something we’re improving. If the speech in your transcript is assigned incorrectly, you can swap speakers in a session.

We reached out to you separately to let you know how to do so.

We’re always working hard to make the Upheal the best it can be for mental health professionals. Thanks for being a part of our community!
