Earlier this year I had a key cut, I noticed that it had started to bend and got to the point where it had to be replaced. I didn’t expect a replacement as I didn’t have a receipt but I thought I would point out the problem in case anyone else had the same problem. I explained the problem and said it could only bend if it was mistreated or damaged in some way,I told the manager that it hadn’t been damaged , I was the only one to use it and I was careful. She informed me that to get a key like mine was only available if it was ordered in, but when I told her that I had it cut in her shop from a normal key and the shop assistant charged me more as it was the way they had to be cut from now on. It was obvious she didn’t believe me and her attitude towards me clearly changed telling me it couldn’t be done.
The manager did offer to cut me key but kept mentioning an original key but the only key I had was the old door key.
I was expecting better customer service and not the unfriendly treatment I received, it was only after I left that she was implying I was a liar as I a result I will never buy anything from you again and I will tell everyone to do the same.

Have used UK Timber a few times now always happy with service, good quality wood easy to order and good communication from seller. Happy to use again thanks.
