Sent the wrong item

Sent the wrong item, I ordered white and they sent black (easy mistake to make eh!) then refused to help just told me I needed to contact their partner directly to arrange a return. I live in the countryside, a return isn’t as simple as popping round the corner to drop it off - why should I have to go out of my way to even start the process of getting my money back for your error?? Telling me it’s due to warehouse issues out of their control - well they’re not exactly in my control are they, it’s your warehouse! Avoid ASOS. Awful customer service and can’t even get an order right that has one distinct item in it. Also I had multiple deliveries who placed the parcels neatly by my door however this parcel was just thrown over the fence.

Avoid DFS whilst they use this delivery company

Absolutely shocking service, if you can call it that. Long story short - ordered a sofa from DFS which was held in Humber services warehouse before delivery. Had a confirmed delivery date so booked the day off work as they very kindly give you a 4 hour window at 6pm the night before delivery. Waited until early afternoon on the confirmed delivery date and tried to call them for an update, but no answer to the phones or emails. Called DFS who also couldn’t get hold of them on their own direct lines. Eventually, late afternoon I got through and they told me the sofa had been damaged in their warehouse atleast a week earlier so would not be delivered today, and told me there was actually no deliveries at all scheduled for the date that they had confirmed to me. No one ever told me there had been a delay, so I had a day off work waiting round for something that was never coming and couldn’t get hold of anyone until the back end of the day. They advised me the sofa would definitely be delivered the same week, it wasn’t. When it was finally delivered weeks later, they didn’t connect the sofas together correctly so I have to take it apart and do it myself, and they damaged the doorway into my living room. I raised this complaint with DFS directly as I already had an ongoing complaint for being messed around originally. A week later DFS tell me to raise it with Humber, who then tell me as it was after 48 hours from delivery they wouldn’t be doing anything about the damage they caused to my property. (It wasn’t raised with the driver as I wasn’t home, my partners mum had to be at the property for delivery as I had already had a day off wasted by them). Honestly, avoid any company that uses these for their deliveries, it will save you a lot of time, hassle and money and experiencing the worst customer service you could imagine.
Thanks for costing me a days work for no reason, messing me around and damaging my property for the lovely price of £129, when I didn’t even choose your shocking services.
