Clear advise tailored to the individual
Jo responded promptly, by phone, to my on-line request to find a local financial advisor. He asked me all the right questions about my financial circumstances to pair me with a suitable financial advisor. I felt listened to as an individual. I hope the advisor, with whom I have not yet held a meeting, gives me more clarity and reassurance about my financial circumstances as I progress into retirement.
My only quibble is that the name Local Financial is misleading. I was asked to give my postcode and assumed I would be put in touch with a local adviser for a face to face meeting. I live in Northern Ireland and have been paired with a financial advisor in London for an on-line meeting. Their website says their service is for UK residents only so I would have expected local to mean somewhere close to where I live.
