Disgraceful attitude of courier!

Appalled by the attitude of the courier. He buzzed my flat, on the first floor, and I let him in. I couldn’t hear him come up the stairs, so I made my way down to check the door had opened effectively for him. I arrived downstairs to a huge heavy box in the middle of the narrow hallway downstairs, blocking the whole entrance. I slithered around it and called after the man as he hurriedly made his exit. He ignored me a few times and then reluctantly acknowledged me. I gently asked him to please help me by carrying the box up to my flat - at which point he barked at me, without even fully turning around - ‘I don’t have time’ and stormed off. Now I need to find someone to help me carry it up.

Placing a heavy box in the narrow hallway, blocking the entrance, and then dismissively refusing your polite request for assistance is completely unacceptable. If I could give 0 stars…

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I ordered a bunch of mixed pink and white flowers for my mum - the pic looked absolutely beautiful with mainly pink, and as one of mum’s favourite flowers are pink alstroemeria (the waltz bunch) it was an ideal gift. However when they arrived they were just white with one tiny pink stem! I sent an email and simply got repetitive unrelated generic computerised responses offering me patronising explanations and pointless care instructions. Disgrace. Avoid at all costs! Expensive flower’s delivered with no love or heart.

Unacceptable!!

I live in South Africa and sent mum a bunch of flowers to the U.K. for Mother’s Day. She is elderly and these types of communications speak volumes. I was surprised to not have heard from her by the end of last Sunday so I checked to see when the delivery had happened and the flowers had been dropped off at completely the wrong house! Luckily I had a pic from the couriers proof of delivery, but my poor mum had to get dressed and walk to the house in the pouring rain and carry the box back! A totally ruined surprise, not to mention shambles on every level! I contacted M&S and their response was a basic ‘sorry your mum had to walk in the rain’ and send me a £10 e-card which is of no use to me as I live in Africa, and it’s also of no use to my mother as she wouldn’t know what to do with it! I also don’t want to spend more money with this company! I told M&S all this and they couldn’t care less - saying that they are sorry that I’m not satisfied!!!

Absolutely everything was a JOKE

Absolutely everything was a JOKE! The product was damaged, the communication slow, insincere, inconclusive and highly unprofessional. Courier collection took days and the refund took the best part of a month - for which I had to chase endlessly. When I eventually lost my patience and claimed that I wanted to make a formal complaint, I was told there was no official complaints procedure! They also seemed confused as to what there was to complain about 😅.

Avoid avoid avoid!

The most arrogant, poorly customer service focused company I have ever dealt with. Sent the wrong item and received no assistance in resolving the matter. Had to open a PayPal claim, in response to which they were so infuriated that they blocked my account - so in August this year (Your order A01231020277 at Dictum - 18.08.2023, 23:17) when I tried to order again, i wasn’t able to - children!

Unethical and frustrating

Ryanair contacted me saying that last minute.com had no affiliation with them and that I had to pay a fee to revert the booking over. I could have gotten a much cheaper flights booking directly.
