Terrible Customer Service
I ordered an expensive laptop on a friday so that i could collect it from an Evri site on a saturday before 2pm.
Saturday morning i received a text saying that the item was to be delayed 24 hours,I was not to bothered as i needed it for monday at work.
Sunday came and went without notification, and monday I called the customer services to find out what was happening. After 3 calls (one of which they cut off) i finally had a promise that it would be a the evri store by 8pm that evening.
I called again wednesday having not been text and again after numerous calls i was told that it would be at the store between 11.30am and 12.30 pm.
Nothing arrived again
After more calls they claimed the store had been shut and delivery failed. I rang the store (Co Op) and it had not been closed and they actually had an Evri delivery.
A final call wednesday evening established that john lewis had no idea where the item was, and believed it lost/stollen.
My only option was to cancel re-order i was given no other options.
Then i was told that i would have to wait 14 days for my money back, to make matters worse they have now expanded on that and said they have found the laptop which is being returned and the refund process will start only when they receive it back.
I have raised a complaint on the John Lewis website, however i have been told that nothing can be done until they receive the item back.
Throughout the whole sorry process customer service has been appalling, putting me on hold for long periods, cutting me off twice and not looking for solutions to the issues.
