Much harder than expected

I just took the B1 SELT exam with LanguageCert for my Skilled Worker visa. It did the job—UK Home Office accepts it, no problem—but man, it was way harder than I expected! Compared to practice videos or even IELTS, it felt next-level.

The test was super rigid and fast—barely any time to think, especially in reading which was kind of academic one. The interface worked fine, but it was kinda robotic, and some question formats felt weird compared to IELTS, which has way more prep stuff out there.

The speaking part? The best part. Super friendly examiner. Nicholas! Thank you.

That said, the test center staff were nice and professional, and the instructions were clear. But if you’re taking this, definitely use LanguageCert’s official practice materials. YouTube won’t fully prepare you—the real thing’s way tougher.

Bottom line: It works, but the stress level? Unnecessarily high. Four stars for very nice staff and speaking part

Great Platform — But Strict Policies Can Be Frustrating

Overall, Trustpilot is a very useful platform. I rely on it often to read real reviews and share my own experiences. It’s helped me make more informed decisions and I like how businesses can respond — it adds balance and accountability.

That said, I’m giving 4 stars because I’ve had a frustrating experience trying to post a genuine review about a company I used. Despite following the rules, my reviews were blocked several times. I understand the need for fraud detection, but I wish the process was a bit more flexible or clearer, especially for real users like me.

Still a solid platform, but I hope the review verification process becomes more user-friendly in the future.

Excellent Learning Platform for All Skill Levels

I’ve had a great experience using Codecademy. The lessons are clear, interactive, and well-structured, which makes it much easier to stay focused and actually retain what I learn. I especially appreciate the instant feedback when coding — it helps me learn through doing, not just reading or watching.

The platform covers a wide range of topics, from beginner basics to more advanced concepts, and it’s constantly updated with current tools and languages. The projects and quizzes are also really helpful for applying what I’ve learned.

Overall, Codecademy offers incredible value, especially for the price. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to upskill, I highly recommend it!

Positive energy!

I’ve had a great experience with OVO Energy so far. Their customer service is responsive and helpful — they resolved a billing issue quickly and clearly, which gave me real peace of mind. The website is easy to use for checking usage and submitting readings, and I’m happy to say the app is now working smoothly with my radio meters too!

I also appreciate their transparent pricing and commitment to renewable energy. Overall, OVO has been reliable, straightforward, and customer-friendly. Highly recommended!
