This company sells sick and dying puppy mill puppies to unsuspecting consumers for thousands of dollars. Don't be fooled by their lies! I used to work at Petland Largo and have seen this for myself. They are all the same. Every Petland store has an isolation room in the back where sick animals go to die because they are denied veterinary care. Indeed is not trustworthy so BEWARE! They allow companies to post jobs that don't exist and misrepresented job posts by companies who pay to let them do it. I got a job at Petland after submitting my resume for a certified veterinary technician with a salary of, according to the job post, $35,000. After working full-time for 3 weeks I was fired when I complained that my paycheck was short. I was only paid $200. Petland said I was a kennel technician for $8.45 an hour instead. They said there was no certified veterinary technician position at Petland. I ended up suing Petland and when I sent a subpoena to Indeed to authenticate the job post for the job I applied for, Indeed's legal department refused to verify that the post was on the site and when, even though the customer service agent was able to locate the post in their archives in under 5 minutes. Their legal department said it was "overly burdensome" to confirm that the job post was posted by my employer's account and the date it was posted. They also said they are not required to comply with a subpoena unless it was issued by a court within 100 miles of their corporate office in Texas and since the job was in Florida, they refused to authenticate the job post. This is not even correct according to the law so it was obvious they were just being shady and difficult because Petland spends substantial money running their employment openings on Indeed because they maintain a revolving door of employees so steal from and fire so they are always hiring at every location in the country. I couldn't even recover my wages and had to work for free. Indeed does not have any interest in doing what's right and cannot be trusted. They also knowingly allow companies to post fake reviews to trick people into thinking a company is good to work for. Petland does is all the time on Indeed and other sites and even after I notified Indeed that they were doing this, they didn't do anything about it. I see reviews on Indeed for Petland that are fake all the time and think about all the other people that are being misled like I was.
