Dreadful response times

I've been in touch with Explore! since returning from a trip in late June - It takes weeks to get a response '28 days' and having tried to find an amicable solution am still waiting. I simply don't understand why someone won't just deal with it instead of providing excuses for not maintaining a friendly and effective relationship. Do people not understand that delays like this only sour things whereby a timely call / message can build a relationship. Such a shame when the people in the field do a good job - I've been ready to book another major holiday with Explore! for weeks, but how can I be expected to when this issue drags on? It doesn't bode well for the future but all they need to do is say they don't want my loyalty and I'll go to their competitors.

Our Customer Relations Manager has been personally in contact with you since the return of your trip and has been trying to find an appropriate resolution to address your concerns which was still fairly representative of the issue at hand.

Design fault

A very difficult company to effectively communicate with in that the people in customer service are very orientated towards ticking boxes rather than solving a problem. But this is the case for so many companies these days.
I'm on my FIFTH flexible spray gun and all have failed with a faulty trigger.
The response from Hozelock has been along the lines of we're not replacing it again, even though is it stored out of the sun and taken in during winter.

UK staff could do better, but tour leaders are super

UK staff could learn a lot from their guides.
The former take a week to reply to an email or half an hour to answer the phone and respond with answers which you can see on the website.
The latter are personable, appreciate their jobs and work so hard at all times.
Best book through an agent imho

I feel sorry for them

The bakery staff are helpful BUT they, together with managers, are given no scope for common sense.
No one to slice bread )I know, 1st world problem) and when the fellow turned up, the machine mangled the loaf. During the time he came, the last loaves were taken, so this became the last one.
Neither he nor 5 other colleagues, including a manger were able to go off script "We can't reduce the price until 4pm" I feel sorry for them, not only because of this but because large wholemeal loaves are no longer available and they so often run out of bread by early afternoon

Service the way it used to be

I sent my camera with a view to Wex buying it.
The report came back with notes on why they couldn't, because of their thorough checks. I had no idea that there could be mould on a sensor and this shows me how diligent they are - I would DEFINITLY BUY a product from them. Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and totally professional. Other companies could (and should) learn from them. Thanks guys

Neff asked for a review and so here it is!
I used chat to ask for guidance.
But like all large companies now, unless it is on the screen in front of the advisor, it doesn't exist!
Couldn't see any initiative from the chat-responders and they said that the company doesn't have disassembly instructions.
Traditionally, advisors knew their product, but now they seem to be remote from the product

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with the information we can supply. The only information on disassembly that can be supplied is found within the user manual of the appliance. Anything else would require an engineer visit I am afraid.

Due to the constraints of the Health and Safety legislation, we are unable to offer any advice on the repair of our appliances. We can only advise our own service personnel who have proven competency in the repair and subsequent safety testing for electrical integrity of the appliance/s in question.

Slow to answer Unhelpful system.

Slow to answer. Unhelpful system. Person who answered the call was pleasant, but didn't listen carefully to what was being said.
Sent secure message and told to phone. But unless they receive a reply to the letter they send out within two weeks, the case is closed. - Helpful during the holiday period!

It just gets worse! AND WORSE

Update: DPD just tried to collect their 'cancelled' collection.
Replied to 'Tracy' on the last problem 4 hours ago and guess what... NO reply and NO call from complaints team.

Bought the product elsewhere and WHY would I ever shop there again when the system DOESN'T WORK

It just gets worse!
Collection cancelled - Which I didn't ask for.
Complaints dept failed to call as promised.
WHAT a time consuming experience.
Yes, there are worse things in the world, but WHY have operatives who only read the script, have not been allowed to show initiative and who frankly don't know how to communicate.

Archaic Customer Service

Bought an iron. It arrived with broken handles. Going on holiday and need an iron. Estimated replacement time THREE WEEKS. Customer service phone line doesn't have an option for small electricals. Or on-line purchases. Customer 'support' offered 3 - 5 day call-back. Robotic responses and no progress. Archaic.

Ohme customer service is shockingly bad. They haven't returned a call or email in over a week. They wouldn't be so busy if they sorted the question in one call.
They refuse to provide the installer's number, don't give their name and suggest that I look it up!

Having seen the way these guys drive…

Having seen the way these guys drive and park dangerously, that in itself is reason enough not to use them. Overtaking to go through a red light. Parking on pavements and obstructing safe passage - THEN having the cheek to be dismissive.
