Absolutely rubbish service
Absolutely rubbish service. Back in May my doctor contacted you to arrange the next stage if my medical issues, I received confirmation you had received and were getting ready to make my appointment and that I would hear back no later than July 31st. Well you are over your allotted time and I am still no closer to finding out what’s doing on with my body. If this is the way you treat patients I’m not sure I would trust your doctors or nurses to look after me. Privatisation of the NHS is the only way forward. I am a private patient I pay for private medical insurance but I need to go through you first for a date before I can contact my private to get seen quicker.
You best have a good excuse ready for keeping me waiting, as I am very willing to sue for mental stress caused by not knowing why my health is deteriorating. You are a great representation of what is wrong with our healthcare system I say this because the first steps that lead to this, were just as appalling when you cancelled an appointment the day before due to a clerical error on your side because somebody made my appointment for a clinic that didn’t exist on that day. You did this over text you didn’t even call.
After speaking with this director personally on the phone, I can honestly say I am appalled, how dare you question me a British citizen born about why I require to use the nhs when I have paid my taxes for nearly 30 years.
I will contact Nuffield and find out exactly why I have not heard.
Once u have my appointment, I will then contract my private healthcare provider. If you knew your job, you would know that some private health insurance requires the patient to attempt the NHS first, if the waiting time is longer then three weeks private insurance kicks in.
After speaking with this director I feel now it’s important to mention that the original appointment they cancelled due to clerical error also misdiagnosed me, and when I went through private they diagnosed me correctly.
This just cements home now the NHS needs to go far to many people die from misdiagnosis due to the limited time slots you are given because of the strain the NHS is under. Enough is enough.
