Review of Hodmedod's Great British Beans and Peas

Great quality products

Great products! Have only tried the roasted peas and fava beans but they were super delicious, and a reasonably healthy snack. Was surprised by how good the peas were. The products arrived well packaged and were received reasonably quickly despite the christmas rush.
I've ordered similar products from a different company and the contrast was clear. A much better quality product than competitors.

Poor quality suitcases, unresolved parts request

Requested spare parts from customer service, as one of the wheels on my suitcase had failed and broken off on the return flight of my first trip with this suitcase. They responded saying they had no more spares left, for a suitcase they still sell. I'm not surprised they're out of stock as the wheel broke off where it was attached to the wheel casing by a flimsy bit of plastic. I am disappointed at the non-apology from them (expressing regret that this had happened while automatically blaming the handlers), with no offer to tell me when the items were back in stock. No response to my follow up question on when they thought they might have them back in stock, or whether they had other companies they worked with that may have them in stock. I've raised another customer query, not too hopeful they'll respond with any useful information. The 15 year guarantee isn't worth much when the airline is automatically blamed for a manufacturing/quality issue. Poor suitcase, poor customer service.

Update: Still no response from customer services.

We had requested inventory of spare parts from one of our factories and were waiting for a response before coming back to you with a solution - the factory took some time to come back to us but we should have kept you informed. Poor customer service, non-existent delivery.

10 days post order the items were still being processed and hadn't left their warehouse. After repeatedly chasing they managed to pull my order together sending the parcel via Yodel, who rarely manages to deliver anything to my building. Re-directed the item to the "local" depot (1.5 hr round trip), after reassurances from Uniqlo that the item would be ready for pick up. It wasn't. Two hours of chatbots and email correspondence and 1.5 hours of a drive, 2.5 weeks post order, I still don't have my parcel. Their clothes are nice but their processes and customer service are just poor and they employ Yodel who are beyond poor.

Completely incompetent.

Poor experience every time, delivering to the wrong building every time or fabricated attempting delivery. So poor I now try to avoid retailers that deliver through them.

Latest Yodel experience has me re-directing the parcel to their depot 40 minutes away as I don't trust them to deliver to my building. I receive two emails from them - one telling me the parcel will be ready on Tuesday, the other on Wednesday. After requesting clarification from the retailer, I am reassured that the item is ready for pickup. I go to pick up the item and (no surprises here) the item has not arrived. Completely incompetent.

Lying incompetence - again

Once again, Yodel claim they have attempted to deliver. I was in for the full delivery slot and no-one rang the bell and no card was left. I will now double check that nothing I buy online is delivered by them as they are completely incompetent, and worse of all, they lie.

100% incompetent

Item was late. They couldn't confirm where the item was on webchat after 15 minutes of giving them details. I had to contact the retailer who was told that it would take a further 24 hours for them to get back to me. I've had items delivered to the wrong building before, now this. Completely incompetent, will never use collect+ or Yodel again.

Rubbish

Not great. They don't have a customer service department (other than chatbots). Failed to deliver a parcel, and as proof of delivery showed me a photo of a doorway that wasn't mine while saying the delivery had been handed to me. They never rang my doorbell - I was in all day waiting
