The people at Mimmo are lovely!
The people at Mimmo are lovely and the products gorgeous. The slippers I bought my wife were perfect (and really reasonably priced). They really earned their five stars.

Review of Britannia Movers
I've moved internationally seven times and Britannia are by far the most irritating and worst movers I've ever experienced. They were handling the local London delivery of an international move from Australia. The delivery guys were competent and fine, and as they left they assured me that (like every other mover I've ever used) once we'd unpacked our boxes and crates they would come back to pick up all the packing material.
When I contacted head office they said that they didn't do that kind of thing. When I told them that their delivery guys had specifically said they do, and that every other moving company does it they said they'd get onto it. I've spent the last six weeks being given the run around by them, and have given up. It's clear that they are just going to do nothing, and so I'll have to find other ways of getting rid of two hundred boxes and packaging material (the normal numbers for a 3 bedroom house).
So, if you really like having packaging material everywhere and cutting down dozens of boxes and paying for refuse pickup then you absolutely should hire Britannia. Otherwise, pick someone else who does the basic things that movers are supposed to do.

Review of MADE.COM
We purchased a Carlo pullout sofa and the Alif outdoor setting (for a grand total of ~£4000) and I have to say it was the worst purchase I've ever made. The products are ok in quality, but they're all flat-packed and so they're basically IKEA. Building them (especially the sofa) was a huge effort, and I've built numerous IKEA products over the years (and have lots of experience in building and contracting). Their connectors are just much less sophisticated than IKEA, so you end up trying to mate hex bolts through fabric into the hidden nuts, while lying on the floor holding large heavy pieces together. Not a fun experience, and one that took hours. And in the end, the result looks like a plastic-y IKEA sofa and outdoor setting. They just cost a lot more than IKEA.
Separately, the delivery guys didn't unbox the products and then when I tried to get Made to pick up the eleven large boxes of packaging I wasted an hour online to their customer service, they promised to get the packaging picked up, and (of course) I've never heard from them again. Awesome, thanks guys.
In the end we've kept the sofa and the outdoor set, because we're in the middle of an international move and our stuff won't turn up for months. But save yourself a lot of heartache, and go buy some decent furniture up the high street. Or if you want to save some money, go to IKEA. Avoid Made at all costs. I know I will in future.
