I had a terrible experience with Tokyo Treat. Not only did they overcharge me, but they also took money from my credit card without my permission - on a brand new card that I had never given them. This means they somehow accessed or retained my payment details without authorisation, which is unacceptable and unethical.
When I tried to contact them they were unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to take any responsibility for what was clearly an unauthorised transaction.
This company cannot be trusted with personal or financial information. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to stay away - their practices are shady and their customer service is appalling.
If a company can reach into your account and charge a new card you never provided, that's not just bad business - it's fraudulent!
