esure

esure - AVOID THESE GUYS for CAR or HOME insurance, unless you've weeks of time to spare on-hold music driving yourself around the twist and if you value time - then you'll pay twice the premium.

I've spent many hours on their hold music. passed from agent to agent to another agent for another hour of hold music. Around 20 hours, 50 calls over 2 months, - never resolving anything, no ownership. Criminal customer service - somebody needs to shut them down, or limit any new premiums.

Alan MacEwan is their Head of Customer Service and although the team of agents do their professional best, management have an awful process & support team in place for renewals, claims, 3rd party teams. idiotic chat bot & FAQ's. Possibly the most ineffective, inefficient insurance company I've dealt with for car or home insurance in more than 10 years.

You pay your premium twice with the time taken to progress simply easy admin tasks.

Anyway - helping anyone avoid esure, even just one person. then I've helped in a small way.

I've just hung up after another 45 minutes of Elton John hold music @ esure

10 months waiting for eSure home insurance & BVS to…

10 months waiting for eSure & BVS to get their act together and pay a small claim for water damage to a shower floor. Don't trust these guys to look after anything important like structural damage or major claim. Esure & BVS will keep you waiting forever, trim the claim to the minimal amounts by reducing their cover and labour rates & hours. A their tools, chatbots, agents are well intended, mean well, but claim process and handling is not fit for purpose. Still sending cheques throught he post. Spent 25-30 hours in total trying to progress the claim - still waiting.

Product never worked from day 1 and could never get any help to either test, replace or refund. £1000 of wasted money & time.

Bought a myAster 5Ti ( single motor/control box, switches, as self install kit) for around £1000. Could never get the Q80A control box to drive the motor in a clean garage bench test environment, despite many attempts. Tech support or product not good enough.

Constructive response from GateMotors, after several requests for support over many years. The pre-sales advice at the time of purchase for this self-install kit has changed to qualified gate installation engineer. This makes sense for the majority of purchases, although I've got the systems skills to install & support this simple farm gate single motor config, safely and at zero cost.

I'll assess the customer care options, the equipment has only been stored in a clean garage, without degradation. Could be too expensive to return and not confident that GateMotors will test or replace the Q80A control box (most likely faulty when shipped).
But thank GateMotors for their best efforts to progress this minor issue.

I understand that you spoke with our sales team yesterday regarding your gate kit, and our advisor explained he would look into your request of further technical support and would come back to you shortly. It is disappointing that you did not allow us the relevant time to look into this before submitting your review.

We are a website sales company only and do not provide engineer support or attendance for our products. This information would have been made available to you at the point of sale. We are able to guide you on how to find a suitable installation engineer if this would be helpful to you, however. We always recommend using a qualified gate installation engineer for all of our products to ensure that they are correctly and safely fitted.

Without seeing the installation of your gate kit, we are unable to understand the issues that you are encountering, but if your items are showing to be faulty, we are more than happy to assist you with this by following our returns procedure. Please contact our customer care team who can assist you further with this.

Unfortunately, it looks as though the products were purchased from us in November 2017 and if they have been laid unused for some time and not regularly maintained, this could cause them to not function correctly.

VictoriaPlum.com - corrected their errors and sorted out the issues quickly.

Missing delivery, no chatbot or phone or email. when the order was wrong. DX delivered the wrong stuff. then asked me to wait in for Saturday delivery. DX then left me hanging.

Finally ... VictoriaPlum.com chatbot started working, waited 45 mins, then found out nothing coming. Then finally 1 hour later .... reorder - for 3 days later. Had to stand down the workmen at cost.

VictoriaPlum.com didn't know the products, box contents or who was delivering what and when. They also didn't honor the £20 off first order promo. or provided any compensation, goodwill for all the messing around, wasting my time, costing workmens time. Basically, paid for the shower twice, due to the workmens time, my weekend ...

Lesson to everyone - never use VictoriaPlum.com and manufacturers watch out for those "online businesses that hide without customer services, take the money, no chatbot, phone or anything to help when it goes wrong" AND then £50 return charge if you want a refund !!!

- update: 3rd March. VictoriaPlum.com, were supportive to get all the parts delivered quickly and refund charges, related to issues. Thank you.
