Bottomless disaster in Leicester - incompetent management

We went for a bottomless brunch at the Leicester branch this evening at 5pm with 8 people and were met with poor service and management. We received 2 rounds of drinks within one hour (which is not an exaggeration unfortunately) and when we talked to a waiter he told us to order “easier” cocktails so that they would be made faster. Since the price has been raised from just over £30 to £40.80 we would expect the same level if not better service as it was when we’ve come previously. We waited to see if the service would improve however it did not, we had to usher waiters over to order our food and more drinks as they would constantly walk past us even when it was clear we had finished all drinks on the table. When we talked to the manager (keiran) and asked for a simple fix of an extra 20-30mins on our 2 hour time he said that was impossible and illegal, and then said all he could do was take £20 off our whole bill which was just about £2 off of everyone’s bottomless. We obviously disputed this as usually you get AT LEAST 5 rounds in an hour, to which he replied saying since the menu change they prioritise spending their time with their tables and mixing drinks which is a joke as it’s still marketed on the menu and website as BOTTOMLESS and UNLIMITED. After we complained to the highest management there (who was named Kieran) one of our guests heard him unprofessionally complaining to the other staff saying “don’t worry they’ll be gone in 20 minutes” as if we’d asked something completely crazy other than better service from them. We all paid £38 each, and when we asked for the managers name we were told to ask him personally, so we went to ask him and he went and hid upstairs until we had to follow him and ask before we left. We are very dissatisfied and disappointed as we have had better bottomless service from places that have charged £25 for 2 hours.

BEWARE of this SCAM

BEWARE!! You will pay a TOTAL OF £38 to unlock your phone.
Complete scam - absolutely no mention of the ACTUAL price required when you click to unlock your phone for £12 - this is taken just for ‘eligibility checks’ then they want another £26 to actually unlock your phone.
Most people will pay the £12 then like me not proceed with the unlocking fee, so they are stealing £12 for nothing.
If it wasn’t dishonest, they would quote the full price on the front screen.
Am reporting them.

Reply from MobileUnlocks

Hi there! I understand your frustration regarding the costs involved in unlocking your phone. Just so you know, the total cost of £38 for the unlocking service is indeed outlined on the checkout page before you complete your purchase.

The initial payment covers the eligibility check, which is necessary to determine if your device can be unlocked. After that, the unlocking fee is required to complete the process. This is a standard procedure for any unlocking service to ensure everything runs smoothly.

I encourage you to proceed with the unlocking payment if your phone is eligible. If you have any questions or need assistance, our Live Support is here to help! Thank you for your understanding.

Unresponsive agent - found better service elsewhere

After reading the many positive reviews of Affinity and requiring guidance with a non-standard home purchase, we felt confident with our choice of broker.

However, after initially positive contact with Daniel Edwards, we soon found ourselves chasing for updates.
After agreeing a quote and asking Daniel to proceed with our application, we heard nothing more.

Two weeks on, via Heron Financial, we have been approved for a better deal, with the same lender, all within 5 days.

Awful lately, cancelling account.

A request to customer services was misunderstood. Of course, it would help if the agents were in the UK or could at least understand written English.
A parcel ordered for ‘next day express delivery’ has not even dispatched 5 days later and it’s now a 4 day weekend. I have asked for this to be cancelled and been ignored.
Awful all round. Am cancelling my account.

AVOID CHELMSFORD BRANCH. Incompetent liars.

AVOID CHELMSFORD BRANCH.
Staff didn’t bother to read the canister and put my daughter’s Kodak true black and white film through the 1-hour colour machine.
They then lied to her about having to send it away (while they attempted to salvage the images via photoshop), then two days later handed back a ruined reel of negatives.
Was for an important college assessment and she only needed the negatives to process herself. No refund offered for their incompetence and a condescending attitude from all encountered.
Shocking - avoid at all costs.
