Poor delivery - damaged cake - no response.

The ordering was easy and when cut the cake was delicious. The delivery driver carried the cake on its side and took no care at all - the box was damaged and the cake was broken on one side. Disappointed in an otherwise good service. I mailed the company the day the cake arrived, but to date I have received no response.

Recommended

It took a while to get a resolution, but 6 months later my claim was satisfactorily settled. The reason for the delay was due to the part required being unavailable, even from China, and the technician even tried to get the part made here.

I’d recommend anyone taking out this type of policy on an expensive item.

Excellent product and the Tropic…excellent products

Excellent product and the Tropic Ambassador is both knowledgeable and friendly. As a man, there are few things geared to me, but the Tamanu pot and foot cream are fantastic.

Is anyone employed to speak with customers?

I could not get through on the phone, even after a 30 minute wait, so resorted to on-line. I missed off a condition when I first took the insurance, which I would not have done had I been dealing with a real person, and when I went back to add it I was charged over £39 to cover it. I didn’t mind this, but feel that the on-line application is far from straightforward, and you are asking me to rate you, when I did all the work, and paid for it. I question whether anyone was actually speaking with customers.
