Great Service, even better product

We contacted Portable Offices back in February 2025. We had the pleasure of dealing with Roy Hatley who helped us design our cabin taking it from an idea to the final product, with help from some great people along the way. The process was seamless and we ended up with a fantastic cabin which is now a fully operational golf simulator. We would highly recommend anyone wanting to use Portable offices for their portable cabin build. The quality of the building is great and the service that comes with it is first class.

GIV Energy Training Day Rexel Crawley

I am writing this review having recently attended a Giv Energy training day held at my local wholesaler hosted by Sean Cotterell.

Having attended various training courses over the years, I have to say this was by far the most in depth and engaging course I have been on.

Sean was very knowledgeable and his installation experience enabled him to pass on useful advice and installation tips. His ability to provide real life installation experience of the GIV Energy products really helped understand the products on the market.

Good prices, dreadful customer service and inaccurate stock levels listed on website.

I recently placed an order on the Sports Direct Website for 2 pairs of trainers, which I paid next day delivery.
Despite both pairs of trainers being listed in stock, I received an email (after my order had been placed) that one pair was not in stock and that part of my order would be refunded.
I contacted customer service to see what could be done. The order could not be cancelled or amended.
I started a chat with Thoekba a customer service agent. She apologised for the inconvenience and apparently this was not the type of customer service Sports Direct aim to offer. I asked if I ordered another pair of trainers could they wave the delivery fee. I was told I would have to pay the delivery fee again. Before I could reply, Sports Direct cut the chat off.
I tried again and this time got connected to Katsulya another customer service agent. This time, I didn't even get a response, they just cut me off. Obviously, both customer service agents didn't want to deal with my complaint.
My issue is not with the cancelled order, these things happen. It is the poor customer service that ensued and the lack of solutions forthcoming from Sports Direct other than you'll have to pay another £9.99 delivery fee if you want to order another pair of trainers.

First Class Company

Great website, easy to navigate. Great prices.
Excellent presence on Facebook, always replies to customers. There is a raffle on Facebook to raise some money for a boy whose mother died last year and his father has just been diagnosed with incurable cancer. Powertoolmate without hesitation donated prizes for the raffle. A class act and I will definitely be purchasing from powertool mate again in the future.
