Unsatisfactory support to the customer when a safety defect in the car should have been resolved by the extended warranty with minimal efforts.
The subsequent investigation and complaints process with VW has been extremely poor showing lack of process and customer focus in the methods and timings of handling the complaint.
They have consistently and repeatedly failed to achieve the contact timelines they set themselves and communicate poorly.
Only one member of the customer support team has actually shown any professionalism or interest.
The situation is still unresolved after nearly a month.
The only thing VW have done with any speed or focus was to challenge my initial review on Trustpilot in order to censor the criticism I presume .
If only they allocated the same resource and enthusiasm to customer support!
