Joanna was very helpful , listened to what I wanted and immediately took me to the one she thought would be right . Joanna also accompanied me to try others to make sure I was happy with the choice and checked with me that it would fit into my home. Very patient, thorough and all under the extra pressure of the awful noise from building works . Well done to her.
Quite a few choices . I prefer a company I’ve heard of . Disappointed that couldn’t talk to ask questions but hopefully chose wisely and have everything covered . Shortlisting could be better keeping them longer I had to keep going back and changing things . But relieved to have made a choice . Annual pain should be easier to assess.

I like items but too big sometimes . I dislike long wait for returns acknowledgements and refunds .

I have always been pleased with the service. My cooker was needing repairs but I decided to get a new one and start again. I wanted the same duel fuel and make but they didn’t have same model as my 4.5 yr old one but I was told it was same size . Disappointed the burners were smaller, but said I could have the display model two days later as they didn’t have one in stock . I thought I’d get a reduction but no? I was told I would have to have a visit to check fittings even though they had fitted and replaced things on my old one but they arranged for next day . He was concerned about an electric plug near the cooker which has always been there ?? Anyway they said it was ok . On the day the two fitters turned up jobs worth wasnt in it! Seems the oven is different glass top is wider so it wouldn’t fit with the cupboard edging luckily I had a decorator in who took it off and replaced it with a minor adjustment after! Then he didn’t want to go to the loft to turn the boiler off, again my decorator came up with solution, then the other man was doing the electrics he let him start then told him that oven the regs had changed so he had to start again adding another 30 minutes it was all really stressful and then it turned out the depth was longer so the cooker now sticks out from the units! I don’t think it’s level either as the oven door swings away which my old one did until my son levelled it ! The oven is deeper and wider but lower down to accommodate a bigger top oven which I never use ! I won’t be buying hotpoint again or over the phone .

Cookers come in a set size and standard dimension's, height and depth generally tend to be the same with the exception of a couple cm's depending on the model, so its odd that it did not fit easily upon installation.
Gas checks are routine upon every gas appliance installation, this is very important as the rules continue to change. This is why we were concerned with your plug socket, sadly its becoming more and more difficult to install gas, so we send our fitters out as a forum of caution before each job.
When dealing with Gas everything does need to be done by the book, we have asked our gas fitter to follow the rules very closely. I am afraid part of the fitting service does not allow for us to start turning boilers on or off, as if anything was to go wrong we would then be responsible.
Please next time you need an appliance feel free to come in and we can look at each appliance much more closely.
I was in but they didn’t ring the bell or knock I came out and saw a van and a card saying it had been left at my address 44 she apologised and said she left it with a neighbour I couldn’t get a reply so had to try two hours later ! They assume if there is no car you are not in !
The items were bigger so I had to return a lot and order smaller sizes . Everything went smoothly and items collected next day but refund took ages tracking kept saying in transit but after a few emails they refunded. I have ordered again and sent back that was a bit quicker.
