I’ve used Tredz for maybe twelve years…

I’ve used Tredz for maybe twelve years now. they are always good on prices and excellent for customer service. Always reliable, I’ve had four bikes over the years from them. All set up well, prior to delivery. Great for small items, although not always the fastest on delivery times. To be fair, they give accurate delivery predictions. Overall, excellent.

Be very careful indeed, dubious practice

These were the cheapest quote, so I went with them. Unusually, they asked for copies of the driving licences. So I sent photos of them, I have never been asked for these in 30+ years of driving. A week later, I had an email saying that that’s not good enough, they wanted official DVLA electronic records. They threatened to stop the insurance, so I rang them. I was given a deadline to complete the DVLA process, I complied with this and sent an email with the exact details that Vavista requested. Four days later I received an email saying that insurance was cancelled, three days prior to the email was dated! I rang Vavista, it transpires that they opened my email 48 hours after I sent it, so they just cancelled the insurance there and then. I pointed out that I complied with their timescales, that the issue was their slow reading of my email. I supposedly broke their terms, as it states that they can take up to 48hrs to read an email! The result
Was that Vavista kept my £600 for one months insurance, and I drove illegally for a few days. Suffice to say that I would not trust this company as far as I could throw them. Appalling service and refusal to accept their email policy is farcically unacceptable.

What a toothless tiger

What a toothless tiger! EDF clearly messed up, treated me appallingly and even sent debt collectors! The punishment? A £50 fine and a letter of apology. Six months of stress, letters/emails/phonecalls and a £50 fine and a tokenistic apology. Our regulator is appalling, it does not care about the little guy, even when the massive energy companies are clearly in the wrong. Someone somewhere is having their hand twsited behind their backs...........

Truly awful

Truly awful. Order and money taken two weeks ago. Expected day of delivery, and running very low on oil, an email saying the order can’t be fulfilled!!!! I rang the supplier directly, they told BoilerJuice a week ago! No communication from BoilerJuice, no working telephone number, no working internet chat, no Facebook messenger. Left me in a fire situation and zero comment. Absolutely awful customer service, and five days for a refund, so they will have had my money for three weeks. Terrible, they are messing with a person’s heating, which is dangerous when it is -2 overnight.

Refusal to refund our concert tickets…

Refusal to refund our concert tickets as it did “not comply with the terms and conditions” my partner will be 32 weeks pregnant with twins at the concert, but they only pay after 36 weeks pregnant. They refused to refund and couldn’t offer any evidence or risk assessment that a concert is safe for a very heavily pregnant woman. Hiding behind unreasonable terms and conditions in order not to refund. Dreadful company, their complaints team just uphold the company line. Never ever recommend these Charlatans

Update: after the above post, I sent my final( of about 15) emails to the company, stating that I would take them to court for the money. Not once had they been able to provide any evidence, risk assessment, medical opinion etc to support their terms and conditions of at least 36 weeks pregnant. So I threatened court, so they could offer the supporting evidence that their terms and conditions were reasonable and proportionate. The company refunded on the day of my deadline. Two months of aggravation, two months of hassle. We purchased these concert tickets ten months ago, we had not predicted the pregnancy. I am still not impressed, I can only suggest that the terms and conditions are written with the company in mind. Not scientifically supported and used to minimise liability exposure. Yes they refunded, after two whole months and multiple contacts and eventually threats of a court action. The “senior management” who agreed to reimburse should relook at this condition, and either support with evidence or scrap it. Totally unnecessary stress
