Purchased a pair of Brooks Adrenaline…
Purchased a pair of Brooks Adrenaline for our son for school sports shoes. At $230 this is a very expensive shoe for a kid.
Within a few months of wearing they had holes in the toe and the heel cushioning was perishing visibly. The shoes were worn once per week, estimate a total of 20 times. We have purchased ASICS for years and never had an issue, but they didn’t have our size in stock.
Returned to athletes foot to claim warranty. They said we need to contact Brooks to lodge claim. We did that as instructed and the shoes were returned to Brooks, who admitted receipt of the returned goods and were processing the claim.
The next 3 months have been comical. There have been 24 emails back and forth and it goes like this.
Brooks: We will investigate and update the store with the claim. (They cannot update me, give claim numbers or status updates they claim)
Me: Contact Athletes Foot store, we haven’t heard from
Brooks.
Brooks: Check with store again
And it just keeps going around in circles.
I have spoken to the Athletes store manager several times, who has been very helpful and has also emailed Brooks several times and is not getting a response.
Sarah B at brooks has been handling this and we would like some transparency around the claim and credit for the faulty shoes please.
I wish I could attach photos of the shoes.
Edit: Magically an hour after posting this review Brooks contacted Athletes foot and the claim was approved. Such a shame it took so much effort to get it sorted.
