I ordered the item on Sunday for next…

I ordered the item on Sunday for next day delivery. On Monday, it was not delivered: I just got a message that the driver had been delayed. I was then told delivery had been attempted but I was not in. This was a lie: no attempt had been made. In any case, it only needed posting through the letter box. It was eventually posted through the letter box on Wednesday, two days late. This was unsatisfactory service compounded by lying to cover up the delivery driver's failure to deliver on the correct day.
