Review of CICAR

Excellent experience

We booked with Cicar Av. de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen. Our experience with them was A1. The blonde lady I dealt with was extremely helpful and patient, she is a credit to the company. She dealt with the mix up in dates that I created swiftly and with zero drama after I decided to book our car for a second week and mixed up the return date
I would book online and in advance as they appear to be very busy. Excellent experience with this company branch

For Carli/josh - A charitable donation

Ok, like many others i was scammed by this company and like everyone else i got mad......being scammed isnt nice. So i went on to their webchat, i complained and i swore until i finally realised it was getting me nowhere.
I got chatting to one of the
company "reps" carli/josh (same person different names, you figure thst out). The company address might be fake, its phone number might be fake but the people behind this scam are very real, very real human beings. So it got me thinking, why would someone scam, and of course, it is to earn money. Then i got to thinking what kind of person would run a scam.....i mean what qualities would they have to possess, so im thinking they must be smart, driven, dedicated, determined to succeed etc, all the things that would make an excellent entrepreneur or a suscessful employee. Then i thought something must be amiss with this/these kind of people to not be capable of holding down a regular, straight job, i dont know what that thing is but the thought alone made me feel sad, very sad, very sad for them and the thought of their life.....and i know its stupid but it did make me feel sad. Ive always told myself i dont dontate enough to charity.......and i dont. In that case surely the stolen money in this case can be classed as a charitable donation - The person receiving it is less well off and maybe experiencng circumstances far beyond their control. For every euro they stole it will put food in someones stomach and clothes on their back, maybe even that of a child....and you can be guaranteed that money is going to the people who need it, often this is a question raised by main stream/straight charities. This donation might even prevent them or their child from getting involved in more heavy forms of crime such as drugs or prostitution and that though alone made me feel good again. So while the interactions on the webchat may have cost me a fortune at least it brought me some piece of mind and some clarity about the situation forced upon me.
So by all means do your best to close this website so others dont suffer the same faith as we have. Realise the stolen money is never coming back and thats that, but as naff as it sounds, dont ever underestimate the positive difference you may have made to this persons life throught their negative action.
No doubt one day, through their actions, this person will experience anxiety, a panic attack, a mid life crises or depression that will leave them feeling more vulnerable than they have ever imagined. It is at this point that they will realise the errors of their way.
To Carli/Josh, i enjoyed out chats (sincerely, regardless of the 'happy clicker' costs ;)) and i wish you nothing but the love that has never been shown to you.

PS. The money that remains on my account please use it to buy yourself something nice, i wont be using it!
