Where do i start.
Where do i start.. at first my vps got hit by ransomware everything was encrypted, explained this to 123reg, ( were sorry this happened, dont share your password to anyone.. ( i never share my passwords.)... so i asked could i change my ip? they said no.. only way to do this is purchasing another vps.
then my web hosting panel stopped working, they said we will have one of our technical team to look into this as they have never seen this before, ( basically i couldn't access my website nor could i access files via the 123reg website anymore. after waiting a day, i had to bite the bullet and reset my account loosing that site with over 700 members... once reset the system fixed its self and started working again, then 123reg were quick to email we have fixed the problem,, unknown to them,,, i had fixed it by resetting my own account and sacrificing my website..
so this was my vps and web hosting accounts damaged
then after this big odeal... i started again from scratch, purchased yet another vps, started working on the services again, after a few weeks working on it, all of a sudden my password didnt work for the vps, contacted 123 reg , they said it works fine for them... after spending days trying to access the server, using multiple computers to try, contacted them again, and they said the password you are using is this right? ( blahblah****blah, ) i said no... the dashboard is giving me a different password?
they said oh the website is giving you the wrong password, we cant help you, ring this number...
so right now while i write this... im on hold waiting to talk to their team for help once again... would be nice to at least reimburse me with something for all the trouble, but so far not 1 offer of anything like this.
to the reprehensive thats about to reply to this review, dont just copy and paste the same thing you do to all the other negative reviews.. ive talked to your ( help team many times )
as many sorrys as i hear.. you have no idea how much work and time has been wasted for me to do repairs to this and loss's ( so far each and every error recently no matter how big they were, no talk of reimburses, just a reply of, ok it should be working now sir. Don't get me wrong the people working there are brilliant and friendly, but the problems that occur are so frustrating.
update, on the phone they supplied me with another password, as always no offer of any reimbursement nor an apology )
