I bought a product almost a year ago. Cost was about $70. Months later the product arrived and it failed to work. After multiple complaints and many emails, months passed and a replacement (same product) was sent. Not only did it not work but it heated up until I could not hold it. I feared fire and placed it outside on the driveway.

I explained this to the company and months later they said a replacement was "in transit." That was 2 months ago. Now they refuse to answer emails even though my complete contact info was provided. I am fairly certain that my $70 is gone and that I shall never hear from them. I asked for their identifying info and they never responded.

ThriftBooks delivered as promised. My purchase was a short, outdated book and it appeared to have been discarded from a public library.

The experience was fine and the process was simple. TB might have charged less, in light of the fact that this non-popular book was more or less relegated to a scrap heap. Virtually no one aside from me would be interested in a 30 year old book that made very inaccurate predictions about the future.

The Catholic Company performed exactly as they said they would. The products are as described and the customer service is outstanding.

If we excluded pricing, TCC would easily rate 5 stars. I gave a 3-star rating because the price of the item (it was fairly priced) doubled after personalization, shipping (regular-not express) and taxes were factored in.
At $25, the crucifix had good value (decent quality at a fair price). At $49, some of the value was lost. I still ordered because I like the item.
