I asked the Image Restoration Center to restore a small, badly faded black-and-white picture of my cousin and the woman who raised him as a young boy in the 1940s. They did a tremendous job in three days, creating realistic color and bringing out many details that were scarcely visible in the original. I was able to print it out as a 5x7 without loss of quality. My cousin loved it - he got tears in his eyes. It made his Christmas.
