Review of Matrix Solutions Inc.

Professional Organization, Responsive, Met Expectations

Communication is excellent. They confirmed what might be an atypical order. Carried it out, in less time than advertised. (The advertised lead time was long, but written; their actual time to deliver was much less than that.) Their website search function worked well, though they did have an error on one of their website on the pictures, but the description was correct. I pointed this out to them, and they fixed it immediately, and the correction was live on their site the next day, that is responsive (and errors happen). For people, its how it goes after a nit that matters, these people seem to get that and work hard and professionally to do business. I am buying again.

Shipping and delivery was fine

Shipping and delivery was fine. Search was less great. Even with a full part#, could not find the parts via Electromaker's search function. Had to go in via "Brand" (Lantronix), and then still couldn't locate by using subcategory "Cables". And had to open it up, and the go through products manually until I found these items. Which you had in stock, I bought some, all the rest was good, checkout fine, shipping and handling reasonable speed all good. But that search function, that needs some work.

Thank you for your order and for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that shipping, checkout, and handling met your expectations. However, we’re sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced with our search function.

We appreciate the detailed insight into your experience—it’s incredibly valuable in helping us improve. I’ll pass this along to our team so we can look into refining search accuracy and usability. In the meantime, if you ever have trouble finding a part, feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to assist.

Thanks again for your support!

Review of UPS

Does not Backup what they Sell, PERIOD.

UPS has become the worst company, fighting for worst with FedEx Ground. In UPS case, the drivers lie on failed deliveries, on delivery attempts, on making scheduled visits, generally on whatever they want. UPS management puts in systems to eliminate all human customer support. Management also has no corrective actions for continuous errors in sorting facilities. Its all about "sales", and making good on the promise of the sale is of absolutely NO CONCERN WHAT SO EVER to UPS. (Also true of FedEx Ground). The USPS, screwed up as it is, looks good compared to UPS and FedExGround. Their website REFUSES to give the TRUTH. In my recent package non-delivery, it was clearly mis-sorted, took a trip from Aliso Viejo, CA (last stop before delivery truck) to Bell, CA (no where near), and then the next day back to Aliso Viejo again. Perhaps, if they sort it correctly this time, and there is actually a truck, it will make it on the truck. There WAS a truck from Aliso Viejo on Sat 1/8/22 when it was not delivered, because I got a different UPS delivery that day, from that truck, at 3:00pm. So, this was just normal UPS incompetence. But it is 50% of their deliveries these days. Half of them are screwed up somewhere. In the last mile, in the warehouse, in sort, in the long haul, on pickup, AT THE HOUSE (where the driver is to far behind and lies, or makes something up). Where ever. UPS Management DOES NOT CARE how there operation runs. USPS 2-day delivery is SO MUCH more reliable than these guys, at LESS MONEY.

Review of JB Tools

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Best price, good site, easy checkout system.

Best price, and free shipping. Totally destroyed Amazon pricing, and generally exceedingly competitive across the market. Website was easy to use, easy to find things (for the two different types of tools I searched for).

Review of Ereplacementparts

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good service & communication. Only Fair parts availability on Coleman.

One of two places that provides a very good supply of old Coleman liquid gas Lantern and Stove parts, since Coleman itself is no longer selling parts directly. eReplacementparts.com does a good job, but unfortunately one's overall success with them is still tempered by Coleman's parts availability supply to seller's, and that has just become downright terrible. Coleman is clearly walking away from parts supply for maintenance of the old liquid fueled Lanterns, Stoves, and Heaters that made them famous and ubiquitous. So for many parts (even on units STILL IN PRODUCTION), you often cannot get them anywhere, even here at the Coleman recommended dealer eReplacementparts.com. eRe..com does a great job, they are honest about what is in stock, what is not, what goes on backorder, and what cannot even be ordered. But backorder's really just go back to Coleman, who provides no availability estimates for anything, and who seem unwilling to supply their dealers with parts on backorder, EVEN FOR STILL IN PRODUCTION models. (Like the Sportster II 533 stove). Coleman still sells this actively through online sellers and in-person Sporting Goods stores, but they don't even supply replacement generators to eReplacementparts.com, or replacement stamped steal top grates for this in production model. So, while I think that eReplacementparts.com itself does a fine job (even on communication of the crappy situation), the overall success to the customer is more like a 3 star result, sometimes good, sometimes not, depending on Coleman's parts supplies. I guess I can hold eReplacementparts.com a little bit responsible, and so I docked them a star. They could order and hold large inventories, to cover over Coleman's unwillingness to do the same, and then charge twice as much for parts, to make up for the carrying costs, and the stranded inventory for poor sellers. But instead, they try to offer a good price (critical online sales, or on person sales these days), with a reasonable amount of stock held, and expect the vendor (Coleman) to actually provide parts now and again. Coleman seems uninterested in that, so together eReplacementparts.com gets a 4, and Coleman gets a 2. (They still sell some parts, so its a 2. Try and buy a Harbor Freight part, you cannot.... That is a 1 or zero in my book. Coleman has fallen from a 5 to a 2 in the year 2020, and taken eReplacementparts.com down from a 5 to a 4 with their negative drag.) Too bad.
