Failed delivery, disillusioned customer that was considering re subscribing

I chose my recipes for 2 people for 5 days, bought my basics when I went shopping knowing that our meals ahead ingredients were being delivered. Oh how I wish they was! I sat in waiting all day for a delivery that never came, I sat in all morning the next day whilst communicating with Gousto, who eventually told me that my delivery wasn’t coming due to an issue with the courier. I wasn’t very happy as I now had to go shopping to plan and purchase the ingredients for the weeks meal. This totally defeats the object of using Gousto and we were really looking forward to enjoying the meals I had chosen. I had to chase both Gousto and the courier to get updates and an eventual refund, funny thing is (NOT) that they are now asking me to review the meals we didn’t get

Above and beyond service

Excellent service from Althams Travel Denton, Amanda was fantastic and went above and beyond getting us the holiday package I’d seen with another operator. Amanda ensured we got a double room booking with lake view too as it was showing only twin rooms were available. My son in law has also been in to book his holiday based on how fantastic Amanda was in sourcing us the best deal. Thank you

Was great at first

For quite a while I had a box every month and the contents were always great, I found a new favourite gin that I wouldn’t have been able to purchase in any of the mainstream shops. I have become a bit of a gin hoarder and have far too many gins! I have reduced my subscription rather than cancelling it. I have noticed that the snacks are not as good as they used to be and many have short dates on, I end up giving or throwing them away. I also have a glut of points which I can’t really use as how you have to convert them into vouchers against purchases means they are in fact useless to me as I don’t need to purchase any bottles. I have suggested they look at a possible donation programme to charitable organisations whereby these points could be converted to monetary amounts or raffle/fundraising prizes.

Gorgeous product

I got to choose the fragrances and packaging design I liked. My order arrived quickly and was very well packaged in recyclable packaging. It was easy to assemble and the fragrances are gorgeous. I’ve been using this instead of aerosol deodorant since it arrived and I’m very impressed, it’s keeping me nice and fresh without harming the environment

Good if items are delivered

Great shop, my only grumble is that they accept and take your money for the items that they don’t then send and when you complain they say they were out of stock, they were in stock when you accepted my order and took my money!!!

We are sorry to hear you have experienced this issue with your order.

Unfortunately sometimes due to human or system errors, there is a miscount of stock when listing our products on our website. This can lead to customers being able to purchase items we don't physically have in stock.

As a team why try our best to detect when this happens, and notify/refund our customers before they receive their parcel. However sometimes it is not until a customer emails our customer service team that this issue is flagged.

We can assure you we are using different methods of counting/adding stock in hopes to defeat the issue as a whole, and in the meantime are taking new measures to make sure our customers are not left confused if an item is missing from there parcel.
