Find a different charity

Glad I was able to support the workers and the cause but the clothes I received were terrible and not at all what they promised in their advertisement. I’m also pretty sure my items were all £5 or under and not the £70 worth of clothes that was advertised. Would recommend supporting the charity but be prepared take all items to a charity shop - which sadly they cannot even ask much for them because the labels have been removed. Great shame really, they could revolutionised online charity clothes shopping but have promised too much and delivered absolutely nothing.

We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience with Lost Stock. Throughout this initiative, we’ve tried very hard to create a great experience for consumers in the face of numerous challenges created by the situation facing workers and also in building a totally new supply chain in the middle of a pandemic.
With Lost Stock we only bought items that had been cancelled by brands and retailers. By the end of the project we had bought products that had been cancelled by over 50 different companies. In a couple of small instances, brands returned to buy some of their originally cancelled stock from the factories we were working with and then sold these items at a price lower than the outlined RRP. Whilst it is commended that brands returned to purchase this stock and helped factories and workers of course this caused some confusion.

Damaged top

Ordered from here for a few years now and had a top fall apart after hand washing. I messaged nasty gal (on a bank holiday weekend - the Monday) to request a replacement as had only worn it once and they responded almost immediately. Declan sent a replacement out straight away and dealt with the matter perfectly. Really impressed with Declan’s customer service skills, he is an asset to the company. Thank you!
