£20 to deliver 7am-7pm
£20 to deliver 7am-7pm, but £45 for a more specific time slot. This is unreasonable pricing for delivery.
As it happened, the delivery was in the middle of the day, but I had to be on-site and ready for 7am, because a message of the approx time only arrived on the morning of delivery, not the night before.

Review of Roots Plants
Spindly raspberry canes
The raspberry canes arrived on time, but to a house a few hundred metres from ours. The canes are very spindly. Having worked with commercial raspberry growing in the past I'd not have accepted such skinny canes then, but maybe domestic customers always get the rejects.
£10 off the next order was offered, but the code didn't work, and lack of a telephone number for Roots makes it hard to sort out any problem.

I've been fooled by Conveyancing Index
I've been fooled by Conveyancing Index. It turns out that they charge £180 for doing their intermediary role. Another time I will approach solicitors directly. Expensive agents like this one are very cunning. The challenge is to avoid them because they are unnecessary parasites.
