Happy customer - again

Another claim just settled by Petplan. The claim process was simple and I received payment within a week of contacting Petplan. I only claim for the big events (operations or expensive investigations) which would be difficult to cover without insurance. Petplan has not let me down.

active savings account

I used the active savings account to open several savings products around the same time.
The process is easy to follow.
All the information I needed was available, and in one place.
I wanted to invest in a range of limited access and fixed rate savings accounts. For my needs, there were plenty of choices through the active savings account and I felt the interest rates were competitive.
Having so much choice, and information, to hand in one ‘hub’ makes investing easy.
The central hub of the active savings account contains clear and helpful information about the status of each investment.
Very happy customer.

Signing up to join was frustrating…

Signing up to join on-line was a frustrating experience. There was an offer on but there was no communication on the website around how payment worked.
Luckily, I managed to speak to a really patient person at my local club who eventually managed to get me to understand what was going on. Had it not been for her, I don’t think I would have joined; it was all too annoying.

Smelly reed boxes but great customer service

The reed boxes were very smelly when they arrived. The smell of the basic material is fine, but there is another, very strong and unpleasant smell coming from them. Leaving them outside for hours did not help.

A quick email exchange with customer services and the reed boxes are now on their way back to the Futon Company. Very helpful response from customer service and an easy return process. So I’m a happy customer, but sadly without my reed boxes.

Montana small luxury clip on

I bought the Montana small luxury clip-on sunglasses. Now it’s been sunny for a few days, I have had a chance to use them properly.
I mainly use them for driving and wear them over specs for distance vision.
Can’t rate these highly enough. They are light-weight and easy to attach to specs. The view through them is very clear. They work well when moving from light to shade (something I have always struggled with when using sunglasses).

Cote de Beouf

This was a gift from MINI (thank you MINI) and I hadn’t heard of MSH before.
The meal came in clearly labelled packages and was very easy to prepare and assemble.
We heated the jus in a jug in the microwave. This might make the chef faint, but it meant less pans on the hob. It worked very well.
Each element was very flavoursome and the whole plate was well balanced. I like well-seasoned and tasty food and this is exactly what we got.
With a bit of ingenuity, we think the Cote de Beouf package could feed 3 people. There were 2 of us and we were very full as we felt obliged to eat all the potato and as much kale and meat as we could. We still have some leftovers for lunch today, along with the pudding.
Overall, our experience is that this is restaurant-quality food at home, with very little effort. We will try other dishes.

Mercedes Benz Insurance - never again

Mercedes Benz Insurance - I will never, ever use it again
I’ve just completed a no-fault claim via the policy arranged by MB Insurance. To be fair the claim has been completed and the repairs done - hence the one star. But…
What MBI don’t tell you is that they use the services of a third party to manage claims. In my experience, this third party’s sole aim is to try to sell you additional products you don’t need and then dump you in the insurer’s call queue. They made no attempt to manage my claim; I was on my own.
The process, in my case, was convoluted and repetitive. Communication was poor. Information I supplied somehow disappeared. Absolute shambles.
I thought I was doing a good thing for me and my car by using MB Insurance. How wrong I was. I won’t make that mistake again.

The whole process is simple and clear.

The whole process is simple and clear.
I had several items to sell. The process was easy for sending in the items that were accepted; DPD just came to the door and took the packages away.
I was told really quickly where items were not accepted for sale. And also heard quickly that one item needed a re-quote. If I’d wanted more info about the reason for the require, I could have asked.
Altogether this is a seamless and quick way to sell kit and I would definitely use MBP again.

Excellent service

Excellent service. My prescription somehow gets processed faster by the doctor's surgery than before. My medicines turn up really quickly after they're approved. And I'm kept informed of progress.
I started using this service because of Covid19 but I will now never go back to the old routine.
