A breath of fresh air for a bank - recommended!!
I'm taking the time and trouble to write this review, as I have had such a fantastic overall experience in the last three years of being with this bank, that I feel the need to share my experience with others. So first of all, I love that this company came along to "disrupt" the banking market. There are too few huge banks, that have too much power - and it is a company like this that will only help to improve the overall banking sector as a whole. The customer service is fantastic - always there, 24/7 on the online chat, if you need help. They all have fantastic English, and a professional manner. All the smaller details such as a quality envelope when you receive your new card.. and easy to use App (easy navigation, menus, beautiful design). And finally there was a small issue where Starling bank made a small error within the workings of the overdraft experience for some customers. I was one of them. They rectified the situation with not only an apology, but they also sent a text to my phone informing me that they would be sending a gift through the post. A few days later I was awoken by the postman with a huge hamper, with all sorts of crisps, chocolates, cheeses, lemonade, biscuits... amazing - when was the last time your bank did that??! I mean seriously, the details and customer service of this company is just incredible. It's how I imagine the customer service that my grandparents talked about from the old days would have been. It's literally the best I have ever been treated by a company for which I am a customer of. A huge thank you to the company for your customer service, for your thoughtful touches, for the hamper, and for being a true British success story - and I wish you every success. I will be referring you to others in future, and will certainly be a customer of yours for as long as possible. Keep up the good work!!!
