Expensive unreliable cable

Bought a cable for £220 in 2022. The first 2 years I barely used the cable as I was working abroad and my var was parked in a private underground garage where I charged it with a granny cable. Recently been having charging issues with this cable from EV Cables. Of course it's out of warranty and all they offered was 10%discount on a new cable which I naturally declined.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues with your cable.

Your order was placed in February 2022, which means it's now over 3 years old and more than 12 months outside our 2-year warranty period.

While we understand this is frustrating, our warranty terms are clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Our cables are tested up to 10,000 charge cycles and it's very rare to encounter faults.

However, if you’d like to send the cable back, one of our technicians can try and repair it for you.

Rubbish!!!

Rubbish!!!
Unreliable!!!
Pay for 100mb fibre but download speed average 25mb.
Constant dropouts. It is like having a dial-up connection.
Customer service say the issue will be resolved but the problem continues month after month. The virgin media app does not ever recognise the hub3. Every time i run a test the result says i have some broadband issues. Rebooting solves nothing.They tell me my complaint will be escalated to a manager and promise a call back that never happens. After many years of problem free service from Plusnet it was a big mistake to switch to virgin and i will not be renewing my contract.
