Great experience, unfortunate returns policy
Great experience, the shoes arrived promptly and were as described. Sadly they lose marks as their returns policy states shoes can't be returned if they don't fit right - this is in contravention to distance selling regulations and the Consumer Contracts Act which stipulates that a product can be returned if it is not fit for the consumer so long as it is in a resaleable condition. Having a house rule that goes against consumer law is not cool.

I think you may have misinterpreted what the position is reagrding the return of goods. Anyone can return any goods as long as they are in the same perfect condition as when delivered with all tags, packaging and box in tact. If the shoes do not fit (ie too small, too big or too wide or narrow etc) this is not a fault and you will have to pay for the return of the goods. You will get a full refund of the goods on return of your order. We are not breaking any laws as the returns information was written up by a legal body to make sure we comply and follow the Law / guidelines laid down. We hope this clears things up for you.
