Staff went above and beyond to help.

I visited the Berwick store for BBQ gas on a busy Sunday afternoon, returning an empty from last year. Their gas supplier has changed from Calor to Flogas which required a change in gas canister. The Go team, and especially Cheryl at the checkout, smoothly guided me thru the process, changed the tank, applied discounts and even put the bottle in the boot. Great service, especially as the store was very busy. These guys were determined I got the right gas with the best deal possible. I really appreciate the efforts and warmth of the staff. Well done and thank you once again.

Fantastic Hydraulic Hose Supply Company.

I contacted Hose World (Eyemouth) in the hope they could supply hydraulic hose and fittings for an automotive application to find they make up and test hydraulic hose to your requirements, while you wait! The team were beyond accommodating - even producing an additional hose after I specified an incorrect fitting at no extra cost, making up my hoses in less than 10 minutes. Their service is genuine, approachable and friendly and they go out of their way to help. The products are made from high-quality European components of which they have a vast range to suit any application, in stock. The two 800mm hoses I purchased cost £20.00 compared to the vehicle manufacturers' £440.00 and were made on-site to a higher specification. I unreservedly recommend these folks whatever your hose needs, individual or business, whatever the application or volume. Outstanding.

Professional and reasonably priced.

Located near Newcastle Central Station, this tidy repair shop offers an immediate repair service while you wait or within an hour or so if the repair is complicated. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and have access to OEM and original parts for all leading handset brands. They replaced the AMOLED screen on my Samsung S22 Ultra 5G in one hour, for GBP100 less than Samsung, who required the phone for 2-3 days. Completely happy with the quality of the service, parts and overall experience. Highly recommended.

ICS - Excellent CMI Course Provider.

ICS offer a direct, no-nonsense approach to course advice and selection that I found refreshing and straightforward. Once the course was selected, the pre-course set-up and establishment were similarly direct and pain-free and a well-considered, well-structured induction course quickly followed up the enrollment. The learning portal is clear and easily navigated and support is provided through the portal and direct contact with the tutor and peers - who are active thru support forums and Whatsapp groups. The online course tools are excellent, and the CMI-provided learning material is first-rate. There are several functions that help to keep studies disciplined and on track, which are essential for those with busy lives. In terms of value for money, I'm completely satisfied and enjoyed the experience.

Terrible. Policy is riddled with exclusions, beware.

I took out a 5* policy when buying a Range Rover and was advised by the agent the WMS policy is the best warranty available and "I'm covered for all eventualities", this message is echoed on the WMS website. In reality, over a three-year period, I have attempted to claim three times for issues my previous warranties would have covered, and on these occasions, the claim has been excluded, rejected (process technicality), or minimized - WMS referring at all times to the fine detail of their policy booklet. My previous interaction with warranty providers was one of outstanding service, whereas my interactions with WMS have been nothing short of talking to a brick wall. The policy I purchased cost more than WMS has paid out - over three years my repairs total GBP5,000 of which WMS has covered less than GBP600. Buyer beware: READ THEIR POLICY BEFORE BUYING AND COMPARE WITH OTHERS. Regarding customer service...If my calls with their claims team are true to form, I await WMS to post a reply to this review stating they adhered to the policy booklet in all cases.

Hyundai garden tools.

This purchase - a chainsaw - is the third Hyundai garden product purchased in the last 24 months, which are gradually replacing my no-brand, low cost units as they fail. The Hyundai units, chain saw, walk-behind strimmer and road sweeper have proven to be reliable and good at the job. The chainsaw was immediately put to work clearing up fallen trees after storm Arwen and performed brilliantly on oak, cedar, and maple. The unit is well presented in a soft case, the tool kit and accessories are excellent. The warranty is excellent and their service is first rate - I replaced a pull start on the walk-behind strimmer after 18 months of heavy use. 5*, great value for money, fully recommended.

I called to Business Stream for invoice clarification.

I called to Business Stream for clarification regarding charges on an invoice. The call went thru - the first time - to a simple and easy call answering system with only one layer of automation before reaching a human call center agent. After security, the agent had immediate access to account information and was able to explain clearly and professionally the nature of the charges and furthermore provided by email a comprehensive response and guide to a non-bill-related issue. One of the better call center experiences of recent times.
