I ordered a bench, I took the standard delivery and also the insurance option.
The bench arrived on time 3 months later packed in bubble wrap (not a sturdy box), unfortunately after removing the packaging we found the bench had been crushed and bent during transport, the parts had not been welded together straight, and they had missed some spray paint.
The extended insurance we took states a free replacement, or up to 40% compensation if I agree to keep it.
I asked for a replacement, and instead they offered me a free gift or 5% discount as they say it is still functional!
I tried to compromise with them, but they just keep repeating the offer and will not send a replacement.
I would be willing to accept 40% and find someone to repair it (saves a lot of hassle and time), but they will not budge.

They pretend to be UK company with Royal Mail delivery, 2-3 days stated in FAQ.
They don’t reply to emails (still waiting after 3 weeks.)
Order shows pending dispatch from China after a month.

Where it has fallen down for me is that customer service responded to my first email where I reported the delivery missing, but there has been no follow-up for 8 days.

Very happy from sales stage, installation, and after care support. Contact Solar quote came in more expensive than two other competitors, however I based my decision on good reviews and the fact that they have years of experience. The guys in sales have the equipment installed at their own homes and are very knowledgeable and patient to answer queries, after all it's a big investment, and they will be working on your house and roof.
The surveyor was out within a week and checked the roof was suitable and locations of electric, gas (to see earth bonding was OK) and where I wanted the batteries located was suitable.
The quote cautiously underestimated the yield that the panels would produce, based on the fact that my roof if not pointing in the optimal direction, and I am happy to say that at peak I'm getting 10% more power generated than estimated. I'm glad I took their advice on the larger battery.
I needed to get the electricity board to install an isolator ahead of the Solar installation (it was free, and I was lucky that they came out a week later so I was good to go.)
The scaffolders that came did break a bracket on my guttering, and Contact Solar made sure this was resolved quickly with no fuss.
Two days later the installation guys arrived on schedule. They were extremely hard working, arrived at 8am on the dot and had me up and running by 5:30pm the same day. The electrician showed me the basics of how to read the display to know what was going on, and linked the system to my WiFi read for the App.
Next morning the office followed up to check everything went OK, do some admin, and take payment. They sent over a handy FAQ which answered most of my questions, and they got me set-up on the App 30 minutes later.
I had some questions after installation, and the email support team were quick to answer (within an hour.)
To be honest it was information overload when I received all the information, however they explained the next steps I needed to get my Tariff changed so I can export the excess electricity, this takes a few weeks.
Overall I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism of the company, and I'm confident that if I do get problems down the line that they will still be around to fix it.
The manuals for the equipment are in electronic format and can be downloaded from the Sunsynk website. The app is good quality and works well. Some of the advanced settings are best left to the office to change.

We paid for next day delivery and DPD let us down. We waited in all evening, and they say they tried to deliver, however not according to our security cameras.
