I'm sorry if the VAT and duty was a surprise for you, but after UK left the EU market, this is something that is due when ordering products from outside the UK. The transport company collects the VAT tax and excise duty and pay it to the UK treasure.
This is something we alert the clients along the buying process but we will revise this information just to be sure that there won't be no doubt for our UK members when ordering in our store.
